Amazing college for level 1 or 2, A levels & T levels. Dedicated SEN department with a passionate focus on work experience. Small friendly environment

Discriminatory and Unsafe for Neurodivergent Students Gateway College is not a safe or supportive place for students with Autism or ADHD who don’t have an EHCP. Despite having a formal diagnosis, these students are offered little to no support. The college shows a clear lack of understanding and inclusion—and worse, students without an EHCP can be removed or pushed out instead of being helped. Neurodivergent students deserve better than to be treated as a burden. This college fails them completely.

Local college situated in Leicester in the Hamilton area, next to the police station. A good mix of students from all walks of life. Parking can get chaotic when picking up students. Arrive early.

after leaving this college in 2024 June for a life time. The teacher's support at this college is crucial, and it feels like student concerns are completely ignored. I had issues with several processes, from registration to mental health support, and no one seemed willing to help or even provide clear answers. It made the entire experience unnecessarily stressful and frustrating, the main teachers tutors, not all most of them are not nice and really gives the student anxiety and want to leave the college and not come back.

I study A level maths, physics, and business at Gateway sixth form college. I am year 12 and I can say for sure this college isn't too study oriented it's calm and stuff is happening at times but there isn't but happening around the College. It gives you a country side vibe in LE5 area of Leicester.

can do better, NOT helping you, if you want to learn, them not give you chance...

This place is amazing when it comes to education from my perspective, I have moved from WQE and learning over here is taken seriously as having a hundred percent attendance you will get a certificate and when there was no Covid you will have the chance to go on a trip to Paris and have fun there for a few days. A police station is opposite the building and the college is pretty remote however that is the drawback unlike WQE there is no town or places to enjoy , There is only Tesco and a park outside that is pretty small and basic. The place is amazing for learning as learning is tracked from progress, Attendance, Punctuality and attitude to learning. The teachers (Depending on who they are) are amazing and very helpful and there is a section for mentors when in need of assistance or advice for your career’s path when required. There is also a gym that can be accessed for both genders as well as a AMAZING trainer. Its a place where learning is taken seriously.

I’ve been continually impressed by this college as they always strive to improve and deservedly achieved a good official status recently. The management team are always friendly and professional with a good spirit. Superb facilities with a good atmosphere.
