   Warm and inviting cabins in a lovely location a 15min short walk from Foxton Locks. A welcoming bottle of wine and shortbread and a jar of doggy biscuits too! There's a few things that need to be updated slightly... Sink plugs wouldn't pop up if pressed down, outside lights were operating a bit randomly, a knob missing from a kitchen cupboard. But recommended all the same.

   We stayed at the Bluebell shepherds hut directly after our wedding reception and wow, it was perfect ! Going from a fast paced, crazy wedding day to the absolute peacefulness of just sitting outside of the hut, looking out to the gorgeous views with a little fire going was magical. The hot tub made the stay even more relaxing and we enjoyed looking up and seeing the stars come out (there is very little light pollution here so the stars looked great and we even saw a couple of shooting stars!) I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cute getaway, wanting a little peace and to also enjoy what the countryside of Leicestershire has to offer !

   Absolutely beautiful little shepherd hut snowdrop, perfect for 2 people to rest and recuperate from everyday life! The bedroom with the full size window is beautiful to wake up to in the morning, with the views even in the rain! The hot tub is amazing, lovely and hot perfect to unwind and read a book. It provided the perfect space to explore the area and celebrate my cousins wedding which is what we came down for. The only suggestion would be to name the huts as it was confusing which one was ours. The hut also gets very hot when it’s full sunshine, maybe an idea to provide a bigger fan like a tower one if it’s summer. Thank you so much to Laura and Bridget for a wonderful few days. We will definitely be back to try the lodges which looking at the reviews sounds amazing also..

   Stayed in Snowdrop shepherds hut with my husband for 2 nights while our son was on a trip recently. What an absolutely beautiful set up! Everything was so pretty and well thought out and considered, from the luxury toiletries in the bathroom to the complimentary bathrobes, to tea, coffee, sugar, milk and prosecco provided on arrival. The hot tub is perfectly sized for 2, it even has a Bluetooth speaker built in so you can listen to some relaxing music while star gazing. As there isn't much light pollution there are so many more stars to see than usual too! We loved the bedroom, it felt so cosy and the bedding and pillows felt like really good quality which all just adds to the relaxing experience. There are so many things to see and do nearby. We made a visit to Market Harborough which is less than a ten minute drive and is a gorgeous town. We also went to see the ten locks with a walk along the canal and a pub lunch to finish. We also took a trip into Leicester itself which is huge and has most shops you could want. You can really make a trip here as busy or a peaceful as you want. We've already agreed we both want to come back as soon as we can!

   Fantastic stay in Bluebell, one of the shepherd huts. All very clean and very cosy. I loved the hot tub and the fire pit outside. I also loved the warm log burner inside and it was amazing how much Laura fitted inside the little hut! The views were spectacular.

   Stayed with my partner and some friends back in September in the pheasant lodge. One of my first lodge getaways and it won’t be my last. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay that much we’re coming back for longer next month. The lodges are lovely and finished to a great standard (massive bathrooms and showers too) you could happily move in and live there. Hot tub is also great and a nice extra as well as the BBQ! We had one issue when we stayed and when we phoned it was rectified within a matter of minutes which was fantastic service from the team. The only feedback I have is that the outdoor lighting wasn’t working near the outdoor seating area in the lodge and the provided Bluetooth speaker wouldn’t charge (most likely broken through wear and tear), maintenance issues happen and I’m just bringing them to your attention as sometimes when you’re fully booked it’s hard especially if you’re not made aware of them. Counting down the days for our next stay we can’t wait!
