Every time I’ve called theres one receptionist that is extremely rude, 0 patient care & phone etiquette, may as well be speaking to a robot they would probably be nicer

Caller No. 1 for 45 minutes is a perfect tagline for this practice. I have even walked into the practice (with my phone already in the queue for 25 mins) and spoke to the multiple receptionists. I asked whether the red light on their phone set was an incoming call which they nonchalantly replied "yeah". Not once have I had the phone answered in

Excellent doctors! easily get an appointment if you call at 8am and are perfectly timed! staff are helpful and communication and professionalism is amazing. My consultation appointment always go well. I feel listened to and respected. Karen and Caroline need their own individual 5***** reviews. my only niggle is waiting at the window at reception. patients could benefit from a better welcome counter and someone dedicated to in-person patients at the window/desk. All incoming calls seem to come into this space with 2 or 3 people squished in often on the phone or discussing work, so glass is understandably closed for privacy. Tiny niggle though. Staff communication seems good as messages are passed on between reception and medical staff and responses to queries are always super swift. Genuinely feel fully satisfied that we are at the best local surgery. Would never change.

My wife was released from hospital six months ago after having a stoma bag fitted - but she was also released with a severe infection to her wound. During the last six months, she has had to visit the practice every other day to have the stoma bag changed and the wound dressed. She has been treated with so much care and dedication by the Health Care Assistant at Phoenix and today has been discharged with the infection now fully healed. We are so grateful for the wonderful care the Health Care Assistance has given her over the last six months, but also the Doctors, Practice Nurse and the staff on Reception and staff of her Chemycare Pharmacy have given her. BIG THANKS TO YOU ALL

as a receptionist myself I feel justified leaving this review. extremely rude lady sat at the window speaking to another lady...no acknowledgement whatsoever even just a sorry I will be with you shortly is surely just manners. eventually another lady actually came out of the office to ask what I wanted. I wanted to collect a doctors letter which I knew cost £25. I asked if I could pay by card was told no. Ithen asked the lady at the window if they had change again I was ignored. turns out they didn't have change and couldn't take card and apparently a bank transfer would take too long!!! I left without my letter and fuming. if my employer had this performance from his receptionists we wouldn't have jobs....just awful

It was never worthy of praise when it was on the corner of Postbridge Road. S.Exon and I.Ward were quite good back in the day, but I've seen this practise spiral down and down. Possibly the worst reception staff I've consistently encountered apart from two (Joy, in the past), and a current young lady. The manager present is just nasty. Awkward, bossy and belittling. The ONLY current and longstanding person left who needs a credit mention that I've dealt with is Karen Walker, one of the nurses. Apart from her all, the good ones left. I must mention also the staff in the Chemicare. They're super, pleasant, diligent and they've helped us a lot since the move to Leamington Road.

Reception answered call fairly quickly (I was in a queue of 13 but moved quite fast) I got a same day face to face appointment with Dr Lall who was very attentive and helpful. Any medications prescribed were ready to collect within minutes.

I had to order on line my insulin and blood testing cassettes and I left a message to say it was urgent. When I went to collect the receptionist was very rude telling me the doctor was busy and hadn't signed off the prescription. I asked her to help as I had no meds for that day which is life threatening. She just refused to help very abruptly. And shut the hatch. Luckily the kind pharmacist could see my distress and agreed to lend me some

Appalling lack of patient care by reception staff. Cancelled an appointment for a 92 year old with dementia, moved it to a date 6 weeks later, didn't tell anyone and then act surprised when you turn up and make out it is the patient's fault.
