   Chec is a brilliant clinic and I am so grateful for the care which I have received and is ongoing. It is efficient and delivered by professional friendly people. It has one drawback however. I could not book my appointment by phone because chec was so busy to answer. The other number I tried left me waiting for an hour before I gave up. The link on my phone could not get me an appointment in Coventry so I had to go into the clinic to make the appointments. I could see it was very busy and the receptionist didn't stop. She could do with some help answering the phone. Otherwise no complaints.

   Shanny was very rude and did not listen to me at all over the phone i had appointment for surgery on the 26th September but she told me it had been cancelled because I wore soft lens on the day when I had been checked. That is false because the last time I wore soft lens was on the 6 June 2025 because my vision had changed and I stopped wearing them. I told her numerous times but kept on talking over me and would not listen. I have not come across this kind of customer service in my entire life but being accused of lieing is shocking

   Waited around a bit longer than expected for my cataract surgery at this very clean and modern building but everyone I spoke to was pleasant, efficient and professional. When I eventually got into the operating theatre it was all done and dusted in less than five minutes. Thankyou Doctor Khan you were nothing short of amazing! CHEC are a bit less efficient on the “post surgery” communication though. The clinical helpline number just “rings and rings and rings”. I eventually gave up after getting no answer on three different days and decided to ring CHEC’s main phone number and am currently waiting to speak with someone as I’m 8th in the phone queque! I managed to speak with them after about 20 minutes.

   Had cataract surgery 6weeks ago was really quick to get an appointment to assess then had the treatment 4days later. Everything went great,everyone from reception up to the surgeon were really good and attentive and telling me about the aftercare. Thanks to all the staff
