They need a change of receptionists there. Don’t need to say much, we all know how receptionists are. Service is awful in my opinion and I know many can agree

I wish I hadn’t ever switched gps to this one. All four “junior” gps inexperienced and unprofessional. Got told by one of them that I couldn’t have any of the listed medication my psychiatrist advised to take as they weren’t in a position to be “recommending” me treatment for an addiction to another medication I was on and was trying to come off. Had to speak to a more senior doctor who issued me these straight away. Basically in short words got told to leave his office. Currently been told to start on 15mg mirtazipine for sleep and anxiety, my gp told me that I should increase the dose up to 30mg to 45mg to see how and if it works, I am still on 15mg having to take 2 x to 30mg because my gp won’t approve the 30mg on pharmacy4u even though this was the advise they gave they don’t want to issue anything you actually need. Wouldn’t recommend there in a heartbeat, awful service and now I know why. Definitely need to do my research before switching gp practises and I learnt the hard way.

I have had no complaints about this medical centre up to this point but I feel like they didn't provide me with the information I needed for my prescribed medication. I was given a prescription for medication which they informed me would essentially be for life barring drastic changes in my life or discovering the fountain of youth. I took the medication daily without missing a single dose but when I came to get my next set of pills I was told I needed to get another prescription and worse yet this prescription would need to be reviewed and signed of by the GP. All this is well and good but the issue is I was not informed of any of this and so when I went through this process I learnt I would end up missing several days of taking the medication as I waited for all this to go through. Were I aware of this I would have gone sooner and now I am left wondering whether this period not taking the medication will have any detrimental effects on my health.

I was a patient at this surgery when I was younger and left as I moved out of the area & thank God I did . Its gone down hill .The staff are so rude . I nipped in to ask if someone could have a quick look in my ear as the end of my hearing aid was stuck inside to be told no I'm not a patient . I explained I work over the road and had to be back at work soon the receptionist said she would get someone to look for me and to take a seat . I sat waiting to hear a lady doctor saying no she isn't a patient I wont have a look . So I stood up and and asked if she would to be told no your not 1 of my patients . I was in pain all i wanted was confirmation it was there not a full bloody medical . I eventually had it taken out by a lovely professional doctor down at the walk in centre . Thanks for nothing .

I rate this practice my wife and I have been with Stoney Stanton over 30 years. We have since moved from their local catchment area and continue as patients. From reception to Doctors and Nurses FIRST CLASS.

Just made a phone call to the surgery practice on behalf of a service user in supported living. The response from the receptionist was that disgusting I asked for a name of the receptionist to have a unpleasant mouthful of how I will not be getting her name. I also only wanted to state that the surgery was not stated on the pod like it usually is. To get a horrible response...as a professional I would wish for a better response as I work with people with high complex needs (LD) and this is not an acceptable nor friendly approach. The call was made at 13.56pm today.

I have given 2 stars because when you get an appointment the doctors and nurses are not bad, however the reason for the overall reviews is due to something I don’t understand! Why is that they never answer the phone? Is this also a procedure of working? Is this the NHS way of doing things this days? Does this goes on in other surgeries? Does any one out there ever audit/ review our reviews?I understand the doctors and nurses can be busy but receptionists as well! I have been under this surgery since 2004 but it is getting worse and worse. I am trying to be positive that’s why I am asking this questions ! It’s irritating to the core- I have been calling since morning and and I wanted a repeat prescription. I just hope some one responsible goes through our reviews and responds !

I would honestly give this surgery a zero rating if possible. They never answer the phone, they don’t look after patients. It’s not a doctors surgery, it’s a joke
