   Been many times now , with friends anf family both in the hotel and spa area . Staff are always lovely very polite and helpful , and ensure you enjoy your stay. Most recently went for a spa day with my partner was a lovely relaxing day we had afternoon tea and enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi.

   The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was appreciated, however unfortunately that was the only positive. The place is in serious need of a revamp. There was mould in several areas, the showers were unpleasant, and the extractor fans were full of dust. Room 312 was extremely dusty and far too hot — we had to sleep with all the windows open. Food was disappointing: very oily, lacked flavour, and there were very limited options available. After using the facilities, I ended up with a sore throat, stinging eyes, and very itchy skin. I believe there is poor ventilation throughout, and the chemicals in the jacuzzi felt overwhelming — I had to scrub myself thoroughly when I got home. Overall, it felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. Sadly, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

   This hotel is in a lovely location. Service was excellent from all staff. Food was to a good standard at both breakfast and lunch. Dietary requirements well catered for. Plenty of parking, perfect for corporate events, functions and weekends away.

   Excellent location with wide range of facilities. We always stay here while visiting relatives, the staff are so helpful and nice on every visit. The food is just tip top and never disappoints, we always dine in the Lincoln bar so we can enjoy a few liquid refreshments whilst enjoying the tranquil settings. Great value for money and never disappoints.

   Welcoming service from the receptionist. Dinner was delicious- we had the ribeye steak and burger. Drinks were a bit expensive though. The room was very clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. Although the decor is dated. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of it. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay here.

   Positives: Stayed here approx 30 nights in 2022. Always Lovely and helpful Staff. Fitness Centre and Pool is great and often not busy. Really enjoyed the food - particularly the chef specials! If you are looking for a modern hotel, the décor may not be to your taste - however I personally wasn't bothered about this! Awarding 5* (mainly for the staff) as I think they all do a great job and deserve a good review!

   Attended the hotel as part of a pre-booked Christmas party night. The event and room were both reasonably priced. We found the food to be really good in both quantity and quality. Often these events are rushed and leave you wanting more but not this venue. The drinks were not extortionate which was a nice surprise. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was again very nice but only let down by the cheap ketchup offered. Otherwise I couldn't fault it - they even had fried bread! Our room was clean, tidy, and spacious; I think we ended up with a family room which was nice. If you're thinking of using this venue then please do give it a go.

   So we stayed here for two nights and I am a little disappointed. When we arrived at 9:30pm no one came to the desk for a good ten minutes, there was no bell to call anyone etc which probably needs to be changed. Also the decor needs a face-lift, it feels very 90's with the carpets and curtains. Also what was a shame is the walls were paper-thin and we could hear the people watching TV late into the night in the next room. We could also hear them talking so it needs some sound proofing installed too. The breakfast was nice but the coffee needs improving - tasted very bland. The service of the breakfast staff was good though, the young lady remembered our coffee requirements from the day before which was nice. Also the area was very nice, we got a lot of coffee and tea for the room when we asked cleaning staff too, that was nice, the room was good and clean and the bed was comfortable too.

   Lovely rural location, staff courteous and very friendly and helpful. Room clean and a good size for a standard double. Good choice of dishes on evening menu, we enjoyed our meals. Breakfast was exceptional, my husband said it was the best cooked breakfast he'd had for ages. He didn't have time to play the golf course but was impressed by the standard of the course, and that he would like to return to hotel and play the golf course.
