   If I could give this Gp 0 stars I would. Im extremely disappointed with the care we received from this GP practice. We took our 1-year-old in with a very high, ongoing fever, a cough, and a runny nose. He hasn’t been himself for over a week, and despite how unwell he clearly was, we were told there was nothing they could do and were sent home. That night was awful he barely slept, cried almost nonstop, and was clearly very uncomfortable. We booked another appointment the next day, hoping to be taken seriously, but the experience was even worse. The GP we saw was rude, patronising, and questioned why we had come back. She spoke over us, didn’t let us explain, and didn’t seem interested in listening at all. It’s frustrating enough when adults feel dismissed, but for this to happen with a sick child is honestly unacceptable. Parents go to the GP because they’re concerned and need support, not to be talked down to or brushed off. Since Dr Mishra has not been running the practice anymore, the overall standard of care feels like it has really gone downhill. This place seriously needs to improve.

   5 June 2025 Today I made call them and one of the receptionist was rude she didn’t booked an appointment with doctor because she said it’s 9:30 then i informed that I made a call at 8:30 exact and ivr informed they make me call back but they didn’t that’s why i make call again n again but she was arguing. So it’s totally disrespectful with patient

   This GP surgery is amazing. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Dr. Meera is specially so kind and she is just amazing beyond words. Dr preetha is also amazing and really helpful. All the people working here are really professional and helpful.

   My name is Mr Jones and I have been a patient with Edgwick Medical for 21yrs. I have always had the very best of service from all the people who work here. My interaction with Shaffeen has always been positive, she goes above & beyond whenever needed. She is happy to help and she is my first port of call when needing assistance she is very reliable & when I had Medical issues, she found the answer from the GP & promptly got back to me, which I was thankful for. I have always found her very professional & resolves my queries efficiently. Shaffeen is an asset to the practice, keep up the good work!

   If i could give zero stars i would, avoid this surgery is the best advice! As a mother of 2 kids i never ever seen such bad surgery ever non-carrying staff and the GP first time i needed help he proscribed over the phone an antibiotic so my baby and now my child made a side effect red spots everywhere on my sis top to toes from the GP antibiotic , yesturday was called in by the GP and the surgery was closed, very very very bad surgery today im still waiting for the GP to to call me back to look on my son's body and still no call back its 3:46pm horrible surgery !!!! Avoid !

   The receptionist is so mannerless, rude and disrespectful, she is always full of attitude don’t know how to treat people, I am with this surgery since 2018 when Dr Mishra was there but now new management took over and most of the doctors even don’t know what to prescribe, on top the receptionist which usually handle calls is full of attitude and very very disrespectful. I am leaving this surgery soon and I really don’t want anyone to join this surgery.

   Since the last year this surgery has gone from the worst to the best. The receptionists are amazing despite the pressures they work under and the Dr Mira is exceptionally outstanding in her professionalism and compassion. If you want the best of the NHS service then this is the place to go in my eyes. Thank you for reading my review.

   I can understand the bad reviews on here but my experiences have been good. Like with all surgeries, you have to have perseverance when calling and also be polite basically speak to the receptionists the way you would like to be spoken to. Theres been many occasions when im waiting to book in for my appointment at the desks and some patients stand for a good 10 mins picking and choosing dates and times that suit them with a very abrupt tone, sometimes even pushing past me jumping the queue... if you explain your situation i.e work times then the receptionists do try to accommodate. I only ever have appointments with the nurses, temporary doctors (who DO look into your medical history) and the female Dr Mishra and all inc the receptionists do a really good job. Maybe services would be better if their hours weren't stretched and we all paid for the NHS...... handy tip which i use for my mums surgery aswell ring from your mobile and landline so your sure to get through :-)
