   Absolutely amazing apartment, we were lucky enough to be there whilst the weather was gorgeous so this enabled us to enjoy sitting on the balcony overlooking the river. A perfect location for all amenities. Communication was perfect with the hosts with easy instructions for entry to the garage and the apartment. I would definitely stay again if visiting York and I would certainly recommend to friends and family.

   We’ve just come back from a wonderful two night stay at Woodsmill View apartment, York. Everything went well from booking our stay right up to our departure. The apartment was modern, clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. Everything you needed was provided. It’s perfect for young and old. The river view was magical. We didn’t want to leave but hopefully will be back.

   We stayed at the Woodsmill View Apartment, York in August and loved it so much booked straight back up when we got home (we've since booked for a third time). We won't stay anywhere else again now we've found somewhere so perfect. The apartment is very centrally located next to bars, restaurants and shops. There's a garage underneath which is so handy for parking. We were sent great info before arrival on how to find apartment and get keys etc. Very quick responses if we needed to query anything. Photos don't do the apartment justice, it's bigger than we thought! It was very tidy, clean and had everything there we needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony with view over river is the best thing about the apartment. It's amazing! Can't fault the place, thankyou so much for an amazing stay! Update Dec 24 as don't think can right a new review: 3rd stay was as great as always. We got very much In christmas spirit staying. Can't thank the owner enough for going above and beyond with communication. We'll definitely be returning again.

   What a little gem of a place Woodsmill view is. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we never stopped admiring the view. The balcony is a great feature of this first floor accommodation. Spotlessly clean apartment, modern and traditional twists with everything you could need for a weekend or a longer stay, including a well equipped kitchen and coffee maker. Check in instructions were clear and precise, we appreciated the street view to help us locate the apartment and the garage to park in. The shower was hot and powerful, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all we couldn’t fault it and would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to York.

   Wonderful location beautiful spotlessly clean apartment. Met some lovely people can thoroughly recommend this place if you want to be in the heart of York but in a quiet location. Apartment has everything in it and so lovely warm and comfortable. Can't wait to come back. Ohh and the Christmas tree thank you what a thoughtful touch

   Spent 5 nights at woodsmill apartment , great location with the added bonus of secure parking, so if your looking for a getaway to park up and chill for me this is a perfect spot we found everything was within walking distance lovely to be able to sit out on the balcony and watch the activities that take place on the river. Had to contact lynne with a small issue on arriving in which was acted on straight away. Thanks for that . All in all we had a lovely stay only used kitchen area for breakfast so many places to dine out within in surrounding area for food or drinks. Can get abit noisey on frid sat night but defo not that bad that it would put me off returning Thanks for allowing us to stay in your accommodation

   I was fortunate to win a 2 night stay at Ocholo's York Apartment at Woodsmill Quay, but I'm a huge believer in leaving honest reviews. Truth is, I couldn't have found a better place to stay if I had tried! The location is absolutely spot on, just a few minutes walk from the centre full of restaurants, bars and shops. The balcony of the apartment sits directly opposite the river ouse, which is a key attraction and you will see the river cruise boats passing by. The apartment itself is stunning, it is so welcoming and truly a home from home experience. Ocholo describe the apartment as luxury and I'd have to agree, all furniture and finishes are quality, solid wooden pieces so fitting with the building. The shower was luxurious, both of us said it was hard to get out of the shower once in. The kitchen is fully equipped, though being a stones throw from town we didn't really make the most of this facility. Also, we were very impressed with the secure parking space offered as part of the apartment stay, the garage is directly under the building, both gated and locked, though this will not be suitable for all cars due to height restriction. Thank you again for welcoming us and we will be sure to return, recommending your apartment to family and friends.

   Recently stayed at Villa Carbita Gale. Absolutely fantastic Villa. It was well laid out and proportioned and spotlessly clean. Great pool and barbeque area and well stocked Kitchen. Well covered verandah with table tennis and good outdoor seating area. , Well located for access to the local beach 10 mins walk away and the beach walkway for the more energetic, with plenty of wildlife on the nature reserve. Its also situated about 15-20 minutes by car to Albifuera for a wider choice of restaurants and nightlife. Booking and all contact with Ocholo was very easy and many thanks in particular to Lynne who was a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend

   Long weekend in York staying at the wonderful Woodsmill view apartment. Modern contemporary spacious interior, with all facilities you could want. Lovely balcony with river views. Very central to the town with the added bonus of car parking space. Excellent communication with host. Will be back.
