Dr Latif, Has been in charge for just over a year, Is working Extremely hard to transform the Surgery into an Effective clinic, providing key Services for all patients. Please support her and the staff, who are working hard to support All patients.
All the staff at Kensington Road Surgery have been fantastic, from office staff, to nurses and Drs. Yes, you have to call at 8.30am to get an appointment but isn’t that the same with all Drs now?! They have always gone above and beyond to ensure my children get seen and the care they need. I feel confident in the care and advice given, and I’m extremely grateful to Dr Latif and the team.
If I could give this surgery zero stars then that would still be too many. The reception staff are rude, the doctors are indifferent towards their patients, the patients are treated like an inconvenience and if you take the time to log a formal complaint then nobody will ever get back to you. The waiting areas are visibly filthy. After being a patient here for nearly 15 years I have seen a huge decline in the service they provide. They have gone from being a fantastic Dr's to one of the worst. If you're thinking of registering here, seriously don't bother. If you're already registered here, find somewhere else. This place should be closed down for a serious deep clean and a complete overhaul of staff.
I recently submitted an inaccurate repeat prescription request, leaving me with inadequate medication to take on holiday. Within 4 hours, and in good time for the holiday the correct prescription was signed off, forwarded to the chemists, for my collection. Excellent customer service!
I’ve been at this doctors for the past two years! I’ve been pushed to the side time and time again. I’ve never had any real feedback from any of the doctors and they’ve all made me feel like what I have been telling them about my medical issues or body is false or dramatic. Iv been worrying about the same thing for months and months and they never seem to care. I can never seem to get an appointment and when I do get one it either gets cancelled or is very rushed. They time slots are always over the time that appointment has been booked and not by 5-10 mins it’s always been 20-30 mins at a time. People could be dying and they still would not care! This surgery need serious improvement or shutting down because they don’t seem to care about any one’s lives but there own. They show no sympathy towards any of there clients and I think it’s disgusting. Kensington road surgery you seriously need to take a look at yourself me and ask if you are in the right profession. Doctors should be trying to help your life not make it more stressful!
Please don't go by the good reviews about this surgeries, these are given by people who work here or thier friends. This surgery actually should have no star. This surgery is in shambles with a very incompetent staff. During weekday in my work hours whenever I call to get an appointment or for any general enquiry, I need to wait for 25 minutes straight. Once through the staff at the reception have no required information. Please leave this surgery if you want genuine care.
My family and I have been at Kensington road surgery for 30+ years. We’ve always received excellent care, but recently, despite them being short staffed etc they have still ensured we still receive the care we need and deserve. I booked appointments for my Nan both last week and this week and on both occasions she had someone at her home checking her over within 3 hours! The care and compassion they gave her has blown us away and we are very grateful for them going above and beyond despite the high pressure they are under! They have also listened closely to concerns I have regarding my daughter, supported me, gave good advice and signposted me where needed. Dr Latif has gone out of her way to provide amazing care and she deserves a huge thank you! Keep up the great work!
Terrible patient service. I have been with this surgery for 15 years but have been forced to leave and register with another GP. The phone is never answered, you have to queue outside at 830am in order to speak to a receptionist to be told that there are no appointments, not today, not tomorrow, not at all and to go to the walk in centre. The final straw came when they refused to offer my 5 year old an appointment. It was quicker to register my whole family at another GP surgery and get an appointment there than it was to wait for an appointment at Kensington Road.
Absolutely horrendous . I can’t think of words that are fit to describe this surgery, they are un-sympathetic towards their patients and the duty of care they are there to provide, even for children. Numerous calls to the surgery go unanswered and after an hour to an hour and a half of listening to hold music you get through to a snippy person who tells you there are no appointments and to go to the walk in centre. 4 calls to the Surgery and still no prescription sent through to a pharmacy for my daughter. Do not go near this surgery, we have changed surgeries and I highly advise anyone else to do the same.
Absolute shambles of a surgery. I can never get through to someone on the phone. I can never make an appointment when i have an issue. Had to go walk in centre on a few occasions as its impossible to get anywere with this surgery. I am moving surgerys and suggest everyone else does the same as this establishment is unfit for its purpose. I did eventually get through and the advice was go the walk in centre they have no appointments.
