Used to go here for over 30 years, when it was numark healthcare and something else before that. Most of the time prescriptions used to be fantastic process. Sent it online to docs, 5 days layer a text with a confirmation message saying it's ready to collect... fast forward 2020... 2 weeks processing time for asthma medication resulting in hospital admission. Not once, not twice but several time. Put in official complaints to boots which went unheard. Switch pharmacy to the one on church lane, no issues with life saving medication. Don't recommend if you needs life saving medication and they always seems to be either out of stock, or prescription not ready.

Review of Boots Pharmacy – Galloway Lane, Bradford I have visited this pharmacy several times and feel it's important to provide balanced feedback based on my experiences. The staff are generally friendly and welcoming, and once a prescription is ready, the collection process is usually quick with minimal waiting time, which is appreciated. However, there are a few concerns that need addressing—particularly around how quickly prescriptions are processed, how the pharmacy handles phone calls, and certain aspects of customer communication. Firstly, there can be a significant delay—sometimes several days—between a prescription being requested and it being ready for collection. This can be frustrating, especially for those with health conditions that require regular and timely access to medication. Delays like this can potentially put patients’ health at risk. A kind request to the pharmacy team: please prioritise processing prescriptions promptly upon receiving them, especially for essential or time-sensitive medications. Secondly, getting through on the phone can be very difficult. The pharmacy is slow to answer calls, which is a concern for customers who may be calling for urgent information or clarification. Improving this aspect of service would go a long way in enhancing the overall customer experience. Lastly, the way staff communicate with customers matters. On one occasion, being told that a prescription would be dealt with “after lunch” felt dismissive and unprofessional. While staff are entitled to breaks, such statements should be phrased more thoughtfully to avoid giving the impression that customer needs are a low priority. In summary, while the pharmacy has some positive aspects—particularly the pleasant in-person interactions and the efficiency of prescription collection once ready—there is room for improvement in terms of prescription turnaround time, phone responsiveness, and customer communication. With a few adjustments, Boots Pharmacy Galloway Lane could provide a much more reliable and patient-focused service.

Appalling opening hrs for a boots chemist Mon -Fri 9am- 6pm only. What are working people supposed to do. Chemist meets the needs of their staff not the customers or local community.

This pharmacy is absolutely appalling. They never answer the phone, when you go to the pharmacy they have you waiting around for ages. There’s always some sort of problem with the prescriptions. Appalling pharmacy.

This pharmacy has started going downhill on 2 occasions medications have been incorrect since February 2021. No one answers the phone in working times which is frustrating when you cannot physically go to speak to someone in the pharmacy. It used to be a good pharmacy but is slowly declining.

Very disappointed, no help for my 3 year old daughter who required urgent medicine. I was told to call around other pharmacies when the prescription had been with them. I was told to go to Broadway 20 min from closing in rush hour. Service and behaviour was awful. No help at all. Huge stocking issues!! Only 1 out of 3 items were available. Opted to get my whole prescription from somewhere else.
