   Let me be absolutely clear. Perfect, no. Caring, compassionate, mostly excellent health care over 20+ years? Certainly. All the low reviews are often a specific bad experience. Please believe me, try a truly rural or South East GP surgery. You might see a Dr in 6 weeks. More likely a nurse.. Parkleys is astonishingly great compared to many places. Be thankful for what you have.

   I called doctors on Thursday morning and didn't get back to me in the evening and promised me they will get me booked in yesterday but never and I went in the surgery and they told me a doctors will call me again. But instead lied to me and never called me.

   Excellent surgery, always courteous and professional, get same day appointment or consults they do all they can to fit you in, Doctors are top class and always go over everything with care and answer all questions you may have and explain things clearly. Obviously they have to work within guidelines and timescales. Which can occasionally cause a slight delay but priority need should always come first. Highly recommended, great with all kids from newborn to young adults as well. Can’t fault them.

   Registar doctors should not see babies… Terrible practice that time and time under delivers. Last time I got laughed at by Dr.Hussain to check a notch in my skin and today my infant 11 month son today was prescribed the wrong type of medication. Currently sat in A&E and have just seen a lovely, fully trained and experienced doctor. You would hope you would get this initially This is not the first time and once out of the last five times I have felt satisfied with the service. Will look to move now especially after reading the other worse reviews but I am not surprised.

   This is the best doctor’s surgery I have ever been registered with. Reception staff and doctors are all lovely. I get spoken to with kindness and care which in all my time I have no experienced that especially from reception staff in other practices. I can not fault them. They have been fantastic with both myself and daughter. Thankyou for your fantastic customer service and care.

   All money paid (tax & NI) over the past 20 years were repaid by a nightmare med experience by this surgery in Dec 2022... My child was ill during Christmas hol ... into the 8th day, I took him to see a doctor. Only he was misdiagnosed by an incompetent doctor from this surgery. After 3.5 days of prescribed antibiotics, my child was not getting any better, we ended up spending the Xmas day in Hospital A&E. The hospital doctor asked us to stop giving my child antibiotics immediately because Park Leys GP misdiagnosed! The reception staff was unbelievably rude, they told my anxious wife "if you are worried, take your child to A&E!". Mind you, we phoned first thing in the morning. We hardly go to see doctor, pretty sure the NI payment we made over the past 20 years are sufficient to cover few private health care when we need them!

   Called the surgery at 9:20AM as I either fainted or had a seizure in the early hours of the morning as well as vomiting and sweating was told I'd get a call back in the morning from Dr Smithers . No call in the morning as mentioned phoned back and was told that I was still due to be getting a call ... Guess what they're now closed and no call.... Duty of care Is dead. This is a representation of why the NHS is struggling.

   Since I moved over to this surgery, I have been looked after, more in 13 months, than ever with my previous GP (of over 10 years) Especially as these days, services are really struggling to meet patients needs. I feel safe in their hands. Plus they are always friendly and really listen to your symptoms. Minus a point for parking only. However it is better than most places. Very happy here.

   This doctors surgery is an absolute joke unfortunately I have been with these since moving to the area around 18 years ago, possibly 3/4 really good doctors but the chance of getting seen or spoken too by them is remote, always a new or stand in doctor who knows nothing about your medical history or doesn’t have the time or can’t be bothered to check difficult to get an appointment if you do manage to get one 8/10 times fobbed off, the reception staff are among the worst in the profession, rude, argumentative, inconsiderate unsympathetic and zero empathy whatsoever the call back system is a total nightmare and doesn’t really work, this surgery has a culture of not wanting to see patients anymore but more than happy to take the money from government for their poor services this surgery does a disservice to the community and gives the 3/4 good doctors there a bad name it’s a complete waste of time and energy contacting this surgery proved time and time again I feel sorry for the 3/4 good doctors that work here having to be surrounded by this total incompetence but hey this is the NEW way of medical practises in the uk 2022

   Been with this practice since I was a child. The doctors are lovely, never had any problems getting in touch or to see a GP if needed. Like every surgery there can be times when things get postponed/ cancelled but they always do their best to help. Wouldn't change from here.
