Horrible customer service, viewed a property and sent all documents, and then they are saying it will take more than a week for them to get back to us, further after people are interested in the property they are increasing the rent more than advert to see who is willing to pay £150 more per month. Do not recommend.

Avoid this Property – Especially for Families I lived at 13 Cooper Street, LE4 5BL, and I would not recommend this property — especially to families with young children. When I moved out, the agency initially inspected the house and confirmed everything was in good condition. However, a few days later, I started receiving multiple complaints from the landlord. Even though I had already moved to another city and had a 5-month-old baby, I came back to Leicester to clean everything again, including repainting some areas myself. Then I was asked to remove items from the garden — which were actually the owner’s own bed and mattress — and I still did it. Later, I was told that a curtain was missing, so I replaced that too during my final visit. What made things worse was that the owner was repainting the house anyway, so it made no sense for me to keep returning — especially travelling from Derby to Leicester with a small baby, which was very stressful. On top of everything, the landlord cut money from my deposit unfairly, including charging me for more days than I actually stayed. During our time living there, the ceiling collapsed twice during the rainy season — both times in the room where I stayed with my baby. I never complained, but it was dangerous and extremely stressful. There were also rat issues, and the landlord would enter the property without giving any notice, which is unacceptable. The agency person was very kind and supportive — he even felt guilty about how things were handled and tried to stand up for me. Unfortunately, the property is mainly managed by the landlord, not the agency, and that made the whole experience very difficult. I do not recommend renting this house. It’s not safe or family-friendly, and the landlord is very difficult to deal with.

Extremely professional services, no hidden cost, in my opinion he’s the best agent in Leicester, he has one of the best vetting process for potential tenants which is great. SR properties are easy to deal with when it comes to queries, very informative of annual services etc. To be honest I will not move my services with them as cannot fault them for what they do. For sure it’s easy to deal with SR properties then the bigger estate agents in the market in every avenue you see fit.
