Terrible they mess up so much which causes my grandparents to not have medicine and they are so rude the receptionist. Vicky Jenkins doesn’t look at perceptions properly

Surely one of the best surgeries in Newport. Helpful reception staff are able to book appointments with doctors or nurses at quite short notice, and are really helpful with prescriptions (thank you Viv!). Doctors are interested in you as a person not just a jumble of symptoms. Dr Dexter takes time to understand what is going on and very considered and thoughtful in his approach to treatment.

Please. Avoid. This. Place. Listen to me and avoid these people, please, I am telling this to you, the reader. *TRIGGER warning; suicide, self harm* I received an initial mental health assessment in February, a month later there was another one and that's it (at Gold Tops, without communication in-between, been given 3 days of valium and a bag full of expired food). Richmond Clinic found it a great idea to insult me in their reply letter (in response to mine through "setting things right") and closed their books on me, kicking me off the patients list. They lie, cheat, gaslight and insult their own patients! Oh, and they cut me off my medication of course. I tried ending my own life in April, but have since then also still not received any word, help, not even the results of my assessment or any type of diagnosis. I haven't been able to take my anti depressants for over 2 months but somehow these people, and everyone else, was surprise that I wanted life as I know it, to end. These people laugh in the face of mental health, with Dr. Dexter being the absolute worst of them all after the receptionists. Nobody there cares. Nobody there will help. I would sue each and every single one of them if I had the money and drive to life for it... It's a shame how they treat vulnerable people. They let me walk out their building with razor blades on me, a bleeding arm and crying profusely when all I wanted was to see the doctor. Whilst I was their patient I tried hanging myself, suffocating myself, cut my arms, had anger fits on inanimate objects, started taking more painkillers than I should which led to the attempted OD in April, I mean the list just goes on and they KNEW! I hate them all, and wish they will be held responsible for their actions.

Today I was informed via a very polite receptionist that doctor said I can no longer have a skin medication that I've been on for years as it should have only been an 8.week course. Why then did they keep giving it to me? Also, a doctor increased my bendrofluazide from 10.mcg from 40.mcg at one time and it was the pharmacist at my local chemist who advised me that I should go to my doctor's immediately as he'd never heard of such a high dosage and that it could affect my kidneys. I'd been on this dosage for 10.months.

Would give 0 star if I could. The receptionist are exceptionally rude. Today I was told they are closed and I shouldn't be phoning them as tomorrow is bank holiday... I got a 5 minute lecture why I should not call them on a day just before bank holiday... I am sorry but this is my right to phone the GP surgery when I feel I need advice or need to see a GP I shouldn't feel bad about as I am paying NI this is the least I think... You have many posters patients do not abuse us, but what about us how come you can abuse over the phone straight away or even in face like you really couldn't care any less! I had enough of this surgery. The GP's are great but receptionist are disgraceful! Paying NI for what? These people wages?, and all you get is abuse from staff! You shouldn't be scared getting abuse because most of us are very much knows we have to treat you to be able to get anywhere appointment wise, it's us have to be scared to get abused by the NHS staff for using these services!

Very rude Receptionist and they do not even bother to help. I called yesterday and i've been told to call today at 7:45 . I was calling constantly until 7:50 and the speaker was saying that is closed. After that was saying is busy and they picked up my call at 8;07 and guess what?! No more appointments for today. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!

Never had any issues with Receptionists, Doctors or Nurses. I've been attending this Clinic for 28 years. Always received the best treatment and always find everyone amicable and helpful.

First rate surgery and staff. Have patience when seeking an appointment and the time has always been acceptable whether for an ‘urgent’ appointment os general appointment. We’ve always found the receptionists to be welcoming and helpful. Doctors and nursing staff have our respect.

Having had experience of a few different surgeries in the area due to caring for relatives I think this surgery is the best I have been to. The receptionists are efficient and friendly, it is very clean and the GPs and nursing team have all been excellent in all my dealings with them. I've been able to book an appointment in a reasonable timeframe every time I've tried.
