Great value hotel not too far from Leamington centre but still a bit of a walk notwithstanding a very scenic one. Staff were excellent and very helpful - i left behind £48 of postage stamps i bought for my Christmas cards and they very kindly posted then all back to me (minus 1 obviously) without any fuss or nonsense. Only thing that let it down was the lint in the nightstand shelf and a few cobwebs in the corners but this was a small thing considering the price per night was still 60% cheaper than the Premier Inn. I know.

Nice hotel, good for a basic stay. Beautiful building and lobby is lovely. Room were nice, small but I was ok with that. Upon arrival I had dirty bed sheets and towels on the floor as well as a pint glass from the previous guest, had to double check the room was cleaned. Restaurant was nice good food but a bit understaffed for a Friday evening, poor lady was working both the bar and restaurant and running back and forth. Nice otherwise.

Stayed here for work and so glad it was not at my expense. Incredibly noisy, could hear every footstep in the hallway outside and downstairs. Could hear the staff talking in reception as if they were in my room Food was below average for the price, burger was very greasy Staff - seemed to often be one person for the reception desk and bar No drinking water - tap in room was warm even when ran on cold for a while, asked for water in the bar and the staff member filled my bottle from a sink that said "not drinking water" and the tap was green, either copper corrosion or similar. The bedroom itself was average, the bed felt like I was rolling to one side. Nothing special going on at all. Bathroom was actually nice but thats about thr only good thing going for the place.

Booked through work (so maybe I got unlucky with the room). Very small room with single bed and absolutely tiny bathroom. As you can see in the picture, the toilet was down a mini corridor (which was hard to fit down!) There were also old towels and body wash left down the side of the wardrobe so clearly not been cleaned properly. Shame about the room because the staff were great and it’s a good location.

Really lovely clean hotel, has it's own car park and is in a good location. Lovely room, staff were really welcoming and they do a nice breakfast too. I had a room with a single bed. The only thing I would mark it down for was that some people might find the shower cubicle a bit small really but it was okay for me.

This place is lovely!! Had reservations from reading previous reviews but it’s great! Aaron on reception was welcoming, funny and informative! The rooms seem to have been upgraded with USB ports and the rooms are ace. Lauren is ace at the bar, she makes you feel welcome and you can have have a good chat, very friendly! Summer looked after us well in the restaurant! The staff should have a star award system to make their staff feel appreciated! Great hotel great people! Thank you for looking after us! Room is great, small but enough!

The hotel staff & food were wonderful!! The room was a little sad after a leak through the ceiling (had been patched but very obvious). The building is old & has character so that makes it hard to do upgrades. Everywhere was lovely & clean with nice decor & accessories & as I said the staff were all lovely & so was the food (& certainly not overpriced)!

On arrival the hotel looked really nice and on entering the reception area was welcoming. The dining room and relaxing area were all lovely. However on entering the corridors to the bedrooms it was clear that the hotel was showing signs of aging and maintenance needed. The corridors had a drainage smell about them which was unpleasant. The room was nice however ours was very cold and the radiator wasn't working. We did report it to reception and they got somebody to the room and rectified the fault immediately. We were told at reception that there was an offer on that evening of a curry and a drink for £15 or bar snacks. On asking for a menu for bar snacks we were rudely informed by the dining room member of staff that they didn't do bar snacks and what did i want? i asked for a menu and was informed that was all that was available, no bar snacks and i could pick something off that as that was all that was available. We were not offered curry or a drink even. She never returned to take an order. we spent a lot of money in the bar that evening and ate peanuts and crisps. On arriving for breakfast we were coldy welcomed by a member of staff who took our room number and didn't even say help yourself to any table and here is the breakfast area. She just left us to our own devices. Two members of staff, miserable, unhelpful and quite clearly did not take pleasure or enjoy their job.

Stopped here a couple of times and always had a nice quiet and comfortable stay. The hotel is clean, tidy and relatively well kept. The rooms are clean and adequate for a couple of nights stay. Staff are OK here but need to be a little more attentive perhaps especially on the check in desk. About a 15 minute walk into town with a decent amount of parking at the hotel, I'd definitely stay here again.

Nice enough but I think the AA 3 star rating is quite optimistic. Door handles on main and rear entrances felt sticky/tacky which is not a great first impression. Very limited shelter from the weather at front and rear entrances, which are also the designated smoking points. Wheelchair users should note that access is only via the rear carpark (which has a different postcode to hotel) and this is not obvious or signposted from main entrance. The fully glazed doors are also quite heavy and open outwards. No outdoor seating or other covered areas. Main inside areas were spacious and clean but reception desk is not obvious from main entrance as it's toward the rear of the ground floor, down some steps and obscured by a wall. Staff were very helpful and in good spirits and the restaurant's 'Oberfuhrer' was curt but softened after a while. Room was clean and tidy with blackout curtains, good lighting, plenty of sockets and USB by the bed. Double bed was made up from two singles and had an uncomfortable ridge down the centre. Luke warm water from aerated bathroom tap and shower was less than impressive, poor pressure and never really got hot. Evening meal was fine but breakfast was unimpressive. A good selection of cereals, pastries, juice, teas and coffees but cooked food was barely warm, not hot. The lone server struggled to keep up and several items were in short supply. One exterior fire exit was completely blocked by a parked car from Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning but as there is no record kept of guest vehicles no action was taken. As a final note, the strange offer of ice lollies for sale in the gents toilets failed to whet my appetite, but each to their own.
