We had the early Christmas/annersary treat here!! Nice pool and reasonably priced swimwear we had forgotten to pack!! We had Dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal. Dinner was a set menu, with delicious options well cooked and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. We were so delighted with the treat plate supplied with compliments (see image), unexpected and very happy surprise. Nice walking around the grounds and gold course even on a grey winter Sunday!! Highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel last week and found the rooms to be clean, spacious, and the bed very comfortable. The main concern, however, was the fire sprinklers in the room—they had been compromised with paint and filler, which would cause them to not work as designed. Aside from that, the stay was pleasant, but I hope the hotel looks into this for guest safety.

The hotel was wonderful and spacious with plenty of room to get your steps in for the day. The reception smelled amazing and has a very welcoming design and spacious reception area. All the staff were very well presented along with big smiles from all. The grounds are very spacious due to holding a golf course on site. The swimming pool was kind of small for that size hotel but it was OK, the sauna and steam room are always an added bonus. The food within the 2 resturants I believe are very overpriced for the quality and standard of food. You can get room service for £5 charge. It may have just been me but I dont recommend it based on my experience as my food came cold but to be honest the reception staff done me proud in the end. The overall experience of the hotel was very present so would I go again (yes) but not anytime soon as I like to experience other hotels and like somewhere new. Oh nearly forgot to say the breakfast is the best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel loved it and highly recommend.

We visited this lovely location over the weekend with 2 other families. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the children. The hotel staff were very hospitable and welcoming. Our first meal was at the bar and grill, the staff ensured the children were well served, offered them ice cream and marshmallows on the house since they did not have it in the buffet menu. There is plenty of space around the club for the kids to run about and explore. Ample parking and good location. I would like to mention Matthew at the bar and grill who was extremely helpful. We used the leisure club - swimming , steam and sauna. The only suggestion I would have is to have another pool a bit deeper for adults. Difficult to swim since it's not above 4 feet . Having said that the pool was safe for kids. They have electric car - 4stations charging which was very useful for us. I would recommend this place for a great weekend break!

Service was fantastic. My young daughter was tired from travelling as we arrived at a late hour and the lady in reception offered her a complimentary cup of warm milk, which was a nice touch. Rooms were nice, not exceptional but certainly good.

Have to say this was very disappointing for a marriot. The only thing that lifted it from a 1 star to 2 was the food, which was actually fantastic. As with a lot of hotels, the reception area didn't keep the promise when you got to the room. Certainly nothing deluxe about it. The room was poor, grubby and rough around the edges with dirty towels. For the price and the brand I expected a bit more. They do full room service, which we used as the restaurant was fully booked, but there's nowhere to really sit and eat. We had to pull out the desk as makeshift table. I don't think 2 chairs and a table is much to ask for in a room for 2. There's probably more utility with a table that could be used as a desk, rather than just having a desk. Also I expect a fridge for this level and price. The bed and pillows were terrible and we both felt like we'd had a good hiding the next morning. No better than a travelodge and less comfortable. Definitely would not use again or recommend. I read a lot of reviews and usually they say more about the person leaving them than the actual place being reviewed but I think I'm very fair. See my other reviews and make your mind up.

Overall the stay was lovely, absolutely great hotel staff- very kind and helpful, even when someone dropped a plate at breakfast. The food was delicious and buffet style which was nice. Although…when I hopped onto the desk chair to do some work, I found myself with a handful of dust.. yuck! And the bar staff at the bar were rather inexperienced, full of smiles but it was a bit of a strain to get our drinks.
