   A good and friendly club. Good games room. Fine ales. Only let down concert room is up stairs and has no stair lift for disabled people

   Warm & friendly welcome given to all visitors from outside the Halifax area. Premises are exceptionaly clean & well run. Prices for refreshments at the bar are a lot cheaper than those that you will pay in many of the local pubs in Greater Manchester area, & the City of Manchester being even more expensive. The only drawback during my vist, being the room used for function that I was attending was only accessible up two flights of stairs, meaning a possible problem for anyone with poor mobility. I can recommend this establishment as one you should seriously consider using if you are intending to hold a medium to large meeting/function.
