Welcoming atmosphere, comfortable bar area and practical padded bench seats. We thought this theatre was wonderful. The only downside is that it has no car park! So roadside parking went on for some way outside.
Beautiful building. I was there for a birthday party. Great facilities, lovely surroundings.
Nice little theatre. It has a bar downstairs with seating around tables. It seems to me there are lots of stairs either downstairs to bar or up and down stairs to seating. Bench seating where you can pick your place to sit to see the shows. Front of house is usually staffed by cheerful volunteers or cast members in costume.

Saw the young cast from Tolethorpe Youth perform 'Lion Boy'. An original and entertaining script brilliantly performed.
All of the theatre's seats have a good view of the stage. The facilities are clean. The bar area is welcoming and comfortable.
A medium sized theatre, productions are on throughout the year, would thoroughly recommend if your in the surrounding area
