Fabulous cuisine. Tried the steak, seabass, minestrone soup and tiramisu dessert. The steak was like striking the palate with unforgettable memory.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at The Globe in Warwick. My team had booked our Christmas lunch here (15 December 2025) and each of us had to pay a £10 deposit. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected family emergency — having to collect my unwell mother-in-law from the airport — I was unable to attend. Despite my team explaining the situation to staff in advance, not only was any consideration or empathy refused, but they were also asked to chase me for full payment for a meal I didn’t even have. I ultimately paid just to avoid further stress, but the lack of understanding and customer care was deeply upsetting. This rigid and unkind attitude is not what anyone expects from a hospitality business, especially around Christmas. I would strongly caution others to think twice before booking events here — clearly, compassion and flexibility are not part of their service ethos.

Have come for dinner on various occasions. Great location, nice decor. Food has unfortunately been pretty bad the past few times we came. Have had the gammon and the roast dinner recently. Would recommend for a drink though. Dog friendly and restricted areas they can’t go.

Came here for Sunday Roast today! The Roast was absolutely beautiful. One of the best sirloin of beef I have ever had! However the service was shocking. For a sunday, The Globe seemed very quiet.. Unfortunately it seemed the staff took advantage of this. Our food was sat for a while waiting to be collected, the wait staff were often stood about not doing much... The chef ended up taking the plates out bless him! We had to wait 30 minutes before they even took our food order... and when we asked for second drinks its was 20 minutes until we received them. The food was amazing and the decor was beautiful.. But the service really did let it down.. Hopefully they can speed up! There seemed to be a newer wait staff who seemed unsure but was certainly more in it than everyone else there..

I booked this restaurant in advance for a large party of 12, expecting a smooth and enjoyable breakfast for a special family occasion. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. While the building and ambiance were quite nice, that's about where the positives ended. I had made it clear during the booking process that we had plans to attend a show at Warwick Castle starting at 11:30, yet despite this, we were still waiting for our food when that time came around, causing us to miss the show entirely. We ended up waiting an hour and twenty minutes for our breakfast to be served, which is simply unacceptable for a pre-booked large party. What made it even more frustrating was that the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived and remained that way during our visit. If we had just walked in without a reservation, we would have had more reasonable expectations about the service speed. The coffee served tasted off—almost like there was cleaning solution residue left behind in the machine. When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming: bacon as tough as cardboard and overall lackluster dishes that didn’t live up to the venue’s promise. To top it off, we had to request basic condiments, and the sourdough bread was served without butter. Overall, it was a deeply disappointing experience, especially given the occasion and our plans. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others. For a place that looks the part, it sadly doesn’t deliver where it matters most.

My husband and I came here on New Year’s Eve for lunch and had a fantastic meal. The staff were lovely and the food was great, we had some lovely cocktails. Highly recommended for a nice meal in Warwick - thanks to the team for being so accommodating.

We stayed here from December 24 to 26th 2022 as a festive break package. Our room was lovely and spacious, the bed was so comfortable too! The staff were all friendly, pleasant and helpful. On Christmas eve in the bar there was a fantastic band called Room 17, had a great night! The 3 course Christmas lunch was amazing, delicious and wholesome!. Breakfast was good too! The hotel is very nice with a good variety of drinks at the bar Woke up on Boxing day morning to a message from the hotel to do online express check out only to find they charged us incorrectly, trying to charge us 3 times the amount that was owing. This got us stressed so my Husband went to reception to sort it out. After 90 minutes it was finally sorted. We were not the only ones to have this issue, all the other guests had the same issue. Other than this issue we had a fab time and really enjoyed it However because of the stress of this issue, we were thinking about booking the same thing for next year but this has made us a bit wary and may look elsewhere.

Stayed here as a treat whilst visiting the castle. Was not disappointed with the room, very chic and modern. The shower was AMAZING, lovely toiletries too which makes such a difference. Slept incredibly well, bed and bedding was so comfortable. Lovely selection of cocktails and nice outside seating area. Food at dinner was gorgeous. Chefs definitely know how to cook a steak! Only reason it's not 5* is because the black mould in the bathroom was incredibly thick and needs addressing. We were not asked how our stay was when checking out otherwise I would've mentioned it then. Also, the breakfast is unfortunately not worth the price, not a huge selection of choices and no juice readily available. Cheaper and much nicer to go to Bread & Co just round the corner for a holiday treat. All in all, expensive but worth it.

Ordered Expensive fish and chips (£17.50) - these were served with sweet potato fries and when I enquired I was told there were no house fries available. Not an issue if I was informed when ordering as I would have changed my order. Pizza sauce was overly sweet. It is a great location and atmosphere but Overall not a great dining experience that left us disappointed. Fish and chips with sweet potato fries is really not pleasant.

Amazing stay really enjoying staying here. The staff are AMAZING!! So friendly and helpful. I had a nightmare before check in, I left my suitcase at home, 60 miles away. They helped to advise what stores were open which was great. I was up very early for the travel home and they allowed me to make my order for breakfast so it was ready when the kitchen opened. The room was great and comfy. Slept very well too. Would definitely recommend to others and go back again.
