Rooms were fine in the main. Really thin walls (expected I guess). But extremely loud guests in the next room until the early hours. Again, nights out, you'd expect it to a degree. However there's no means to contact the front desk so they can deal with the noise. Otherwise, a good stay and would stay again if needed and hope to have quieter stay. Not their fault, but would be handy to be able to raise a concern with more ease

Clean, lots of facilities within walking distance. A very lovely gentleman, named David, made my stay extra special by changing my room, to a ground floor room.

Basic comfortable hotel with all you'd expect (tea/coffee making facilities, ensure, tv) Nice to have USB charging points by the bed. Unfortunately these only had power when the bedside lights were on so not possible to charge phone overnight. Unusual to have key operated doors (old school).

Don't stay in room 218. Supposed to be a family room but in my opinion it's too small. Tried to shower my grandchildren in the tiny shower and ended up almost flooding the bathroom. The room is situated just above the kitchen for the Toby carvery next door and the noise from the extractor fans was dreadful. The room was very hot although there was no heating on and because of the noisy fans and smell of food we couldn't open the windows so had to have a fan on all night. Needless to say I didn't sleep at all. Staff couldn't move us as apparently there are only 2 family rooms and the other one was booked. General conditions of the room wasn't good with torn material and stains on the bottom of the bed board. Wall near my grandson was damaged also damaged. On the plus side there's free parking and an excellent Toby Carvery next door. Staff very pleasant.

Decided to come here due to it being local to an event we were doing and stayed 2 nights. The room was fine apart from it being a little outdated but it was clean and tidy on arrival, usual facilities to make tea and coffee. Beds were comfortable, extra pillows were in the room. No bath but the shower was nice and hot. Overall a good stay. Would come back again if in the area....I think yes. Staff were friendly and it's next door to the Toby.

We had a one night stay to give us time to catch up on our Christmas shopping and to go to the Christmas Market. We have stayed at Whitchurch Travelodge a few times but this is the first time on the top floor the rooms are smaller moreso due to the sloping ceiling the shower is small with just a curtain which sticks to you and the water tends to go on the floor and pool around the toilet. The bed was comfortable and clean and tidy and the room was too. Being next door to the Toby Inn is ideal for evening meals and breakfast.

Took my mother-in-law for food for her birthday. We had carvery which was really nice, I had parsley sauce on mine. Staff were very polite and the carvery server was very funny with the mother-in-law as she wanted a small Yorkshire pudding and gave her what looked like a pancake. We had a giggle. Food tasted lovely. Thank you.

We stayed three nights, the room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The staff were all very friendly, and accommodating when we misunderstood the signs. Very quiet, loads of parking, nice bathroom. What more can you expect?

This travelodge is well located for Cardiff behind a Toby carvery where you can also get breakfast. Rooms clean and basic recently refurbished. Staff friendly and helpful. Our problem was thin walls! the people in the next room were talking all night! Sounded like they were running a call centre 3 different voices non stop, we didn't get much sleep !
