   So after my initial review i made 2 years ago, thought an update was in order. Not sure what has happened but prices have doubled, vet visit £64! Antibiotics £61 a 700% markup for the pills readily available for £1.19. Straightaway they were suggesting xrays. My girl lab has a upper respiratory infection which has now passed. Didnt stop them suggesting she may have something in her lungs, even though the vet said her breathing was fine and she wasn't coughing. I have lost confidence unfortunately in their assessments. It just seems its money money money with care as a second.

   Worst vets I have been to. Took out their care plan and was paying monthly for a few months. Called in on numerous occasions to update my puppies weight to get the correct worming tablets and was always told “you will get a call back”. Days went past and I received no call back, called again and was given the same answer. After waiting for over 2 weeks for a phone call I decided to cancel the plan as I was not receiving what was promised through their plan. Only then I was harassed with text messages and phone calls for overdue payments to which I explained I had been paying for a service that I was not receiving. They agreed to cancel it but had to pay £90 for the vaccination and initial consultation and again was bombarded with emails, texts and calls for the payment. If only they had the same structure to return calls for the service I had paid for as the same for chasing overdue payments I would not of cancelled in the first place.

   Vets are excellent ... Jo tjhe surgery administrator is excellent and very helpful....but outrageous to charge £205 for three packets of tablets which are available online for £19.95 a packet. When I phoned up to point this out I was dismissed with the excuse that they know they're available much cheaper online- "online suppliers do not have the veterinary surgery's costs". That would be reasonable if it was 10 or 20% more expensive-But 300% more is excessive and unfair. And being told that I've always got the option to buy online next time is no way to respond.

   We changed our vets to Blythwood Vets after not being happy previously with the treatment of our puppy. We are delighted with Natalie who took a friendly caring interest in Grayson's allergy and skin problems. She explained everything in understandable English and was very friendly and caring. We followed her advice and we are happy to say he is now better. They are extremely efficient and follow up with reminders. Grayson says thank you so much

   Great advice when we were about to buy or new puppies. Followed with a visit once our 2 labs were home. All well, vet was clear and caring. Greeted warmly and only waited a few moments before going in. Very happy.

   If I could give Barry and his team 6 stars out of 5 I would. I can't thank them enough for the help they gave us. We are in the middle of a move abroad and moving with our pup and paperwork for that was a challenge to say the least. Most vets weren't able to help us, though it was seamless when working with Blythwood. Truly, I can't thank them enough.

   Blythwood has been our pup's vet for 6 months now! They take in one patient at a time so it's safe, the staff is helpful and kind. It's always been easy to get an appointment but you'll have to wait a few days.
