DO NOT even think about going near Leaders Letting & Estate Agents unless you enjoy being lied to, ignored, and charged almost £1000 for no reason. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I am honestly disgusted at how this company is even still in business. Before I even moved in, there was a water leak at the property — which I found out about when Severn Trent contacted me about unusually high water readings. I told Leaders about this countless times, but instead of taking action, they repeatedly brushed it off and delayed doing anything. For months they refused to believe there was a leak. In the end, I had no choice but to sort it out myself (even though it's absolutely NOT my responsibility as a tenant) because my water bills were shooting through the roof. This was a significant leak, and their negligence cost me £300 — which they are now flat-out refusing to reimburse, despite me sending them solid proof and evidence. Eight months of this, and still no accountability. I have spoken with over FIVE different employees at Leaders about this matter, from property managers to office managers to area managers, and somehow each one managed to be even more incompetent than the last. I cannot wrap my head around how an entire office can function with such a staggering lack of intelligence, honesty, or basic professionalism. They lie, they waste your time, and they show zero effort or concern for tenants. But it gets worse. At the end of the tenancy, they had the audacity to deduct £600 from our deposit for "cleaning." £600 — for what?! The house was left in decent condition, and when we moved in, there were used boxers left in one of the bedrooms and cobwebs everywhere. They didn’t bother cleaning it before we arrived yet now demand hundreds of pounds from us for “cleaning” that clearly they never care about. To make matters even more laughable, they supplied us with the cheapest, broken hoover imaginable — so how exactly did they expect us to deep clean the property with that useless piece of junk? Altogether, Leaders has cost us nearly £1000 for problems entirely outside of our control. As students, this is a crushing blow and completely unfair. Leaders has shown they have no standards, no morals, and no responsibility whatsoever. If you value your sanity, your money, or simply being treated like a human being — stay as far away from Leaders as possible. They are the single worst company I have ever dealt with, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. I am now taking my complaint to the Ombudsman because that’s how bad it has gotten. Avoid Leaders at all costs. You will regret it if you don’t.
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with leaders has been nothing short of appalling. We have endured over six months of unresolved issues at 28 Centenary Road, including a major water problem that was present before we even moved in. Rather than taking responsibility, they offered a laughable £50 between four tenants, a sum that doesn’t even begin to cover the significant rise in bills caused by their negligence. We were forced to find and fix the problem ourselves, despite it being their job. Communication is either dismissive or non-existent. Every interaction leaves you feeling like they couldn’t care less about tenants’ rights, responsibilities, or even basic decency. Their behaviour is unprofessional, incompetent, and shows a total lack of respect for the people who pay them. Save yourself the stress, wasted time, and money — avoid this company at all costs. I wouldn’t trust them to manage a shed, let alone a property.

She was incredibly helpful, efficient & very professional in finding out what I was looking for and promptly got a viewing arranged on the property I was looking at and recommended others. I would definitely recommend her skills if you need a great lettings agent.
I've had a really great experience with Leaders from being a first time landlord Sara provided me with all the information I would need to get started. I had met with 3 other agencies prior to Leaders and they were the best by far. Sophie has also been great in the lead up to the tenants moving in. She has communicated with me promptly when things needed doing and has kept me updated and well informed. It has made me feel reassured that the flat is in good hands.
I am a leaders tenant in Wolverhampton, but Leamington spa is the branch that deals with my property. I had some really leaky taps, a bad limescale build up that was causing a lot of pressure in the pipes. I called Abigail Phillips, my new property manager (who seems lovely and chirpy on the phone) and she had a plumber round the next day, with new taps and fittings. The contractor did a great job....lovely new shiney taps!!! No noise!!! No drips!!! Overall it was easily sorted out. Thank you to all. I would recommend you speak to leaders if you are looking to rent a property.
