    I believe my dog has been affected badly by this so called 'miracle drug' As a client the gross, disturbing side effects, including death after 1 injection was never discussed. The more I research about this medication, the more I believe it should be withdrawn in the UK and Worldwide.

    I don’t even want to leave a 1 star review for this drug and parent company. Librela needs recalled as imo it is dangerous. My dog had mild arthritis in his right paw joint for which the ‘miracle drug’ Librela was prescribed. She has now developed a neurological condition and her back end is going. I feel my pet has aged rapidly and is in decline.

    Three days after his first injection of Librela our dog’s red cell found had plummeted to 11%. A string course of steroids and he was recovering. He had a second Librela injection and his poop turned orange as his organs started failing. Again red cell count dropped to the point he needed an emergency blood transfusion. We skipped the next month’s Librela as he was too ill, but again our dog’s red cell came good. He then had his third (and final) injection. Less than a week later he was deathly ill again and finally the vet thinks.. maybe the two are connected and writes in his notes no more wonder drug. A week later our dog had a stroke, lost all mobility in his back and and we had him euthanised as he’d been through enough. I have no doubt Librela side effects killed our dog but the vets will not even report it to Zoetis so goodness knows what power this company holds over them.

    Solensia (manufactured by Zoetis) was authorised in 2022 for use with no long term data/side effects and was administered to my very healthy cat, with a leg injury/suspected arthritis. The vet in question did not disclose this and the only thing I was informed was that the side effects can be in itchy ear. 3 days later, the cat is in a comotose state needing assistance with food and water. 7 days later he is hospitalised having difficulty to breath. 9 days later he is diagnosed has having fluid inside and outside of the lungs (which was not detected by multiple vets) and multiple mass build up around the heart. On the evening of the 9th day after Solensia was administered, we had to put him to sleep. A healthy cat, with a leg issue. Dangerous company, dangerous drugs - we wish we had only undertaken our investigation beforehand because the internet is rife with issues with this drug. Of course the reporting system is broken/guarded by the vets and big pharma care about one thing, their balance sheet.
