Honestly, Frederick Douglas have been the most fantastic agents I've used in my 14 years of renting. Nothing is too much trouble, incredibly reliable and just stand up human beings. Rented from them for my final year at university. Any issues were sorted within 24hrs! It was easy to contact Owen and team. Alway with a smile on their face, can't recommend enough! From a previous bad experience with renting a student house (with a different company), it made the final year at uni so much easier not having to worry about the house.
I have been renting on and off for over 20 years and this has been by far the most friendly and professional experience I have encountered. The rental was provided through Owen from Fredrick Douglas and the whole process was managed extremely well from start to finish. The property was exceptionally good and value for money which surprised me at the time as I’d lost faith in finding any honest agents or landlords. There was only a handful of occasions which required maintenance over the 2 years and each time Owen had someone at the property in a matter of hours or a few days. It massively contrasts with how I have experienced any other rental in cardiff and it shows how a mutually respectful and professional relationship can have a positive outcome for both parties. I cannot recommend Owen at Fredrick Douglas highly enough and it made my final years in cardiff a happy and stress free experience.
