I used this branch for an order collection for the first time, normally I’ve always had issues when I’ve visited other branches. It was super quick and easy for once! Suni looked after me really quickly and professionally. I look forward to using this branch on a regular basis.
The boots awards system is a scam it is totally not worth it they take more money for less points and take more points back when redeeming. My experience here today was terrible if I could give 0 stars I would. They are not helpful and frankly one of them just walked away after I asked them a question and they just repeated what I asked and stated the obvious rather than solving my problem. Eventually I just walked out they were useless I do not recommend this store at all.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in a Boots. The staff is absolutely incompetent. Being at the front of the prescription queue for 20 minutes whilst absolutely everyone else gets served is absolute madness.
Liliana was the perfect experience. She practically did my shopping for me, somehow made me feel a part of the local community (in five minutes I might add!) and had a few of us taking care of each other and leaving with more than we thought we needed - an asset to the store ! X
I don’t normally write such negative reviews but I have to say that the staff here are completely incompetent. Firstly, they have introduced a system where many men’s toiletries are not actually in the boxes on the shelves; in other words, the boxes are empty and you have to take them to the counter to be retrieved from the storeroom. (I have never experienced this anywhere else.) I did so, the cashier took the payment, I had to remind her to retrieve the product, she went off for a good 5+ minutes and returned to tell me that they didn’t actually have the product in stock. Her supervisor then berated her in front of me for having taken payment before giving me the product, and finally someone else appeared to give me a refund. Don’t buy men’s toiletries here!
Empty shelves. Staff unhelpful - forced onto self service till as staff unwilling to serve. Awful Shop.,
Always understaffed, and staff that are working for prescriptions don't know how to prepare and dispense them. Same at all Boots stores it seems
Appalling service, appalling staff, constantly rotating. Never given medicine on time. Never answer phone, incorrect or incomplete medication frequently given. Been left in withdrawal for days due to medication not being in stock, or not being ready in time, or simply being mislaid. Cold, unhelpful staff. Absolute nightmare! Avoid if possible!
Very convenient to have this pharmacy close to my home. I also like that I can have my prescription items delivered here. What's even more amazing, is that the last time I visited, the pharmacist offered to send me a message once my prescription item arrived!! It was so helpful because I was tired from my night shifts and didn't want to keep calling and checking. You know yourself. Thank you. I like the self-check out feature they've added as well. Although I'm disappointed that I cannot find some items there, I'm still grateful for the small changes I see taking place, and for the help of the staff. Continue doing good things, guys. I appreciate you all.
Depending on the staff member, you might have one who is so helpful and kind to a great extent, while others seem more passive. This boots is not like a larger boots store, and you won't find a wide variety product selection, for example in face and body creams such as Cetaphil. Their pharmaceutical system is not integrated with the rest of boots pharmacies so they won't be able to tell you if a certain prescription med is available at another location, however this might have changed. From the standpoint of a general quick need for simple necessities and first aid, it's completely fine. I do find it a bit crowded due to how small it is.
