   Swimming lessons were goo due to the swim tutors.. I think it’s disgusting that they expect children to never go away on holiday.. I took private lessons for my daughter.. was going great until I wanted to take some time off to take her away.I had informed them well in advance but no. Lost £17 per lesson and all they want to offer me a fun lesson which I can go to the local pool for a few pounds. They are deluded they need to see reality people go away and a fun lesson doesn’t make up for a private lesson. The swim tutors are allowed to change so they can take holidays but the kids are not. A joke. Obviously it’s all about money for the owners. Even for Christmas only got the one lesson off. So threw out the year they gave me 1 lesson as a holiday due to themselves celebrating Christmas.

   Disappointing to say the least. Did not offer taster session, so booked blocked booking - I was advised that this was non refundable, but could be banked and used at a later date if he wasn’t ready to learn. Due to not being given full information of the rules of the pool I had not prepared my 3yr old for wearing a swim hat and goggles - he became very distressed - to cut a long story short we tried 2 weeks but did not want to end up with him having a fear of water. Almost 2yrs on whenever I try to talk to him about going back he becomes tearful, albeit we regularly go to the local swimming baths and he loves it. Last time Swimrite called to see if I still wanted them to bank his lessons I explained the situation and requested a refund due to the lack of information shared by them at booking - they refused.

   I had at over £50 in credit at this pool for swimming lessons for my son. All I wanted to do was renew my swimming lessons for him after a summer break. The lady said we could but may have to change dates. I thought this was reasonable. However on my return, when I called to change dates, the company said I cannot do that but they will offer some 'fun' swim sessions to make up for my missing £50. Asked for a phone call from the owner, however this failed to materialise. I should have known something like this may happen, as when I was sat in the viewing areas I could hear people having similar conversations. Be warned when making your advanced payments. They did not honor what they said they would do and just took my money without giving me any swimming lessons.

   Best swimming lessons that we've tried around the Halifax area, and we've tried quite a few. Instructors in the pool all the time. If you go at busy times it feels quite small, but the standard of tuition outweighs this inconvenience for me. My daughter has made a lot of progress since coming here, thanks to the professional staff.

   First lesson. Teachers in the pool who talk to the children. They tell each child what they want them to do. Teachers are enjoying themselves and so therefore are the children. Fantastic.

   Both my boys go here for swimming lessons. We change after one of the teachers from here covered a swim lesson at the previous swim school. The difference in teaching style was amazing, found out where she teaches (swim rite) moved my boys there, they have come on leaps and bounds since, with one of my children just about to start swimming competitively and hoping the other one will soon.
