Friendly knowledgeable staff. Also can get flu jabs there. There's a reduced price shelf next to the til I got some eye drops from for a couple of quid.
Staff are always helpful, kind and knowledgeable and will do their best to help you. Prescriptions are always prepared quickly, I was impressed as my previous chemist could take up to a week but with Ethel Road Pharmacy it is often same day from the doctor issuing to picking up my prescription. They are even better since changing companies. Would recommend to anyone looking to change their chemist.

Since changing hands from rowlands the service has improved 100% it now seems like a real chemist, the staff almost all the same have seemed to become more caring and helpful. If they hadn't changed like this I would've changed to another chemist. If I go in I'm greated with respect and if cannot find anything on the shelves they happily come to help and even show the off brand that are cheaper with same ingredients within helping me save money if need to. Unlike some chemist example: when I've had diarrhea the person has said immodium is helpful and it is expensive, they at ethel chemist have a I know loperamide in none generic brand is the same and cheaper. Even though I know this to be true, as said they have shown me if they have off brand with same ingredients to help save money. The shop now also looks smarter than before especially the front door as had bars which made the place seem uncomfortable and unwelcoming, now removed looks more open. I am so thankful to the new management and service.
Recently got severely downhill. After doctors forward my prescription I go to pick up. Said sorry not in we’ll have it tomorrow I said fine. I called this morning to ask if they had my prescription they said yes and I said are you sure? Which he replies “I just told you yes!” Extremely rude. So I go down today to pick up my prescription and they don’t have it! Absolute ridiculous will be changing my nominated pharmacy as soon as possible. Feel sorry for elderly people who have to deal with this too. Shocking

Dreadful service,,,,,cant get medication after several visits and calls but then says came at 12 so yes he can.!!! Not great on other occasions either.Needs to update in his approach and be in line with other phatmacies.Wont be going back in a hurry.
