Attended today and was met by a horrible nurse who was smirking when she learned that my kitten appeared to be dying for not eating anything for 10 days after they vaccinated her. She did not care at all about the fact that this could be their fault and told me to go and book an appointment later. I told her that this is an emergency and my kitten is very likely to die before the appointment, but she could not care less and told me that she can do nothing to help. I have been using this vet for so many years, during which I paid thousands of pounds to them. Everyone who worked there was so nice with amazing customer service, but unfortunately it takes one person to ruin this experience. She called me rude and abrupt because I was visibly upset about my kitten and how horrible she was to me. She failed to say how I was rude to her, or to anyone, at any point. Tip: There was several customers in the reception but I was the only non-white person there. She appeared to be treating everyone else with due respect except me. I would strongly advice, if you look or sound different, do not go there. Find another vet that treat all their customers equally, regardless of their identity. It might not be only if you are not white. Goodness knows what other identity they despise. That is my perception. Whatever happened to our good old Goddard vet! This is not the same one. AVOID! Edit: Went through their complaint policy as below, all fake.

Go elsewhere – consider Animal Trust instead Once you start looking around, it becomes clear that these vets are more focused on income than genuinely caring for your pet. About a month ago, I asked a family member to take my dog in while I was working abroad. She arrived less than 5 minutes late, with her baby, and was left waiting for 2 hours before being seen. The staff were rude and condescending throughout. After the long wait, we were quoted £1,300 and that was just an estimate, not including potential possible extra costs. This puts you in a very difficult position, especially with an older dog. I decided to reach out to 11 different vet practices across England. Animal Trust responded quickly, reviewed the same details I had given previously, and quoted just £482 fixed price, no matter how much work was needed. The quote included treatment, and their team was not only professional but also empathetic and attentive. The 3.5-hour drive to get to Telford was absolutely worth it. Please, look around. I strongly recommend Animal Trust for anyone who truly cares about both their pet and getting fair treatment.

not a bad word to say about this vets! my cat has been registered here for about 7 months now - she has had her vaccinations here, monthly check ups, an ear infection treated and recently neutered. they‘ve been nothing but informative, present and also very reasonably priced! i pay £17.50 a month for my cat’s flea and worming treatment as well as discounts on anything else we may need (such as her recent surgery)! me and serafina really appreciate everyone here at goddard vet’s! thank you for everything you do! 10/10!

Yesterday I popped into thamesmead practice for advise and I must say how helpful and professional the lady was. I purchased what I thought was a 8 week old jack Russell I didn't believe it was that old.The receptionist booked me a app for today so a vet could check him over I went to my app it was on time not like the PDSA .The vet checked my Boris over and confirmed he was only 6 weeks but then he advised me to book his injections for -3 weeks time .When I left I was told because it was a puppy check my visit was free today very impressed is a under statement thanks again

Absolutely fantastic. Normal use a vet in Dartford. But my dog didn’t like it there, so i booked into Goddards thamesmead. He had all his checks and was given the right meds to help him. Was given better treatment and advised. Would recommend to everyone.

Not always a good service, depends which vet you get and the good ones seem to get out fairly quickly. Our two dogs are registered there and we had very mixed experiences. Prices are reasonable, and pet plan is worth for good health maintenance.

Sadly they didn’t pay attention to my friends concerns (twice at 5 months and 11 months old) about their young puppy, and said everything was normal which turned out it was actually a lot more serious condition and wasn’t fine at all fine, only coming to light 5 months later. Preventive action could’ve been taken earlier on to help, either through early medication/surgery and less intense exercise/expectations. Be careful!! Try to seek opinions from other professionals before relying solely off of these vets.
