Nice to go to a vets that do not judge you, listen to your pets needs, offer advice on what is best for your pet regarding treatment, no guilt tripping you or forcing you to spend loads of money on pet bills. They even offer a repayment plan when the bills get high & you are on a low income or do not have pet insurance. Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely the best service I’ve ever had! I had a fantastic experience at Blackheath Veterinary Surgery. It was so easy to get a quick appointment, and their long opening hours make it really convenient. My kitten received such a warm welcome on her first visit β€” she even got a lovely pack of treats and toys! The team was friendly, caring, and professional. Highly recommend this practice to any pet owner.

Exceptional clinic! Doctor Gav was simply brilliant, attentive and caring and she pulled out two grass seeds from my baby Archie’s ears smoothly! I can’t recommend enough the clinic staff are amazing and super friendly! Plus my boy got treats and was not scared at all by the vet visit! Thanks so much!

Amazing practice, truly professional individuals, from the vets to the receptionists. Everyone is kind, knowledgeable, and dedicated. Although I have other vets closer to home, this place is absolutely worth the hour-long bus ride. They’re genuinely passionate about animals and took the time to explain everything patiently, as Moka (my 5 month old kitten) is my first pet. A special shout-out to Dominic, absolutely phenomenal!

Always a great experience at the Blackheath Vet! We had a routine appointment (made conveniently online, for the second half of the week), which was done promptly on time. My dog was assessed and treated with care and he was done in 15 minutes. He walked away happily with a treat. Thank you !

Great vet- Dominic - really cares about the animals and looks after my rescue cat Lily really well. He is always friendly and smiling. I would not take Lily anywhere else!

Highly recommend! I did a lot of research choosing a practice when I got my puppy and I could not be happier! My dog has been a patient for 2 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Each vet I've seen has been wonderful and full of knowledge and compassion.

Excellent experience. First visit as new registered and considering that my little dog is very anxious, we had a very reassuring experience from the moment of registration. Very friendly receptionists and excellent customer care from Dominic the vet. He explained all the required tests and possible treatments with a very caring and compassionate approach. Highly recommended indeed. Update: after having major surgery, and few visits more for follow up, I couldn't recommend more this practice. Definitely I feel that my dog is on the best hands and they are all an amazing team. Totally recommended

My puppy loves coming to this vet surgery. Everyone is warm, gentle and highly professional. I get quick appointments, emergencies are treated with utmost importance and the care is fantastic. Highly recommend taking the care plans, it serves to be economical in the long run. And lastly the surgery is benefitted with lot of street parking ,so very comfortable to get my puppy for her treatments. 5 stars from a happy parent.

I would previously recommend this surgery however now I urge people to avoid. It’s seriously gone down hill and since having a highly anxious dog I realise they really do not know how to deal with dogs - I don’t think muzzling and drugging a anxious dog is ideal in a reception area. Nala was very freaked out and was also left for 30-45 minutes after being sedated without being monitored by a professional even though her breathing had rapidly changed. I was also told to get a Brucella test, that it was mandatory and even though Nala was showing absolutely no signs of having brucella that I would have to find a new vets if I didn’t get it done. They also have given Nala steroids which has a side effect of making a dog nervous so this severely impacted Nalas nerves even more and on top of this they previously double jabbed Nala with her vaccinations as her history was not updated properly. Unprofessional and whenever receiving an apology it seems the response is that they have had a lot on/systems are down or someone has been sick so they may not have been as on point - these are slack excuses and need to take responsibility for their mistakes. Animals life’s are in their hands and they are truly incompetent - I have now wrote a formal complaint and everyone else who I’ve spoke to with similar experiences I have urged to do the same.
