   The pharmacist and technicians/assistants have always been helpful to polite to me. I think people forget that pharmacies run under strict rules and adhering to safety is priority… I have a lot of respect for their patience

   I went to Boots Pharmacy to purchase some pain killers, I was served by someone called Ranvir (at least, that's what his badge said). I requested the stronger version of the specific pain killer I needed, he came back to the till with the weaker version. When I asked him for the stronger ones he asked me if I was on any other medication, I told him I was not. He then told me that he had already rung the item up and could not cancel the transaction (which is a lie, I used to work at Boots and know how the tills function). I reminded him that I had asked for the stronger version of the pain killer before he rung up the weaker one. He then went and got the ones I had asked for, cancelled the previous transaction (which he had literally just said he couldn't do) and gave them to me as I had requested. This is terrible customer service, if I ask for a product I expect to be given what I ask for, and I certainly don't expect to be lied to.

   My experience today with the pharmacy Sarah was truly amazing . She took time out of her busy day to do a consultation for me and prescribe the correct medication I needed .. Sarah is a true asset to boots , caring , showed empathy and very good at her job !!    Went there on Boxing Day, after a call with 111, to collect a prescription for antibiotics for a nightmare chest infection. Told that the pharmacist ‘hadn’t shown up for work’, that they didn’t know where she was and that they were trying to get another pharmacist to come in. They also couldn’t find my 111 prescription on their system despite it being on my NHS app. The woman working there was trying her best and was helpful but the whole set up was a shambles. I was advised to go to another pharmacy as they clearly couldn’t dispense emergency medication without a pharmacist present. Other patients had been let down too.

   Completely incompetent pharmacy staff. It takes them 15 minutes per person to just figure out what to do. They can’t tell a first name from a last name. They do everything twice. Truly remarkable incompetence. Avoid at all costs. They shouldn’t be allowed to sweep floors let alone dispense medication.

   I came to pick up something from the pharmacy. Whilst it was being packaged, I could here the workers gossiping about me in a really negative way. Mainly it was the lead pharmacist on shift gossiping to someone I believe was training/new. This made me feel uncomfortable and judged.

   The store is a bit outdated and could do with a spruce up. Also very long wait to be served and always the same. Staff, when eventually served, are very pleasant and helpful.
