   I recently booked a private boat with Avon Boating to scatter my Nan's ashes on the River Avon, and I cannot thank them enough for providing such a perfect, respectful, and smooth experience during a difficult time. Our party was quite large of 25 family members plus a Buddhist monk, and the two gentlemen managing our boat were incredibly welcoming and accommodating from the moment we stepped aboard. They handled our large group with ease and professionalism. What stood out the most was their profound respect for our ceremony. Throughout the monk's prayers and the entire scattering ceremony, they were completely quiet and unobtrusive, giving us the space and peace we needed to honour my Nan without any interruption. Their sensitivity and understanding meant the world to us. A small note for future customers, there are several boats companies in the area. We had initially thought we'd booked the one that serves tea and coffee, but it turned out we had booked with a different company that was unable to provide this service. When we realised the mix up, the team could not have been kinder or more flexible. They immediately gave us the option to cancel without charge or to bring our own food and hot drinks aboard. This fair and understanding approach removed all stress from the situation, and we were very happy to bring our own refreshments. Throughout the trip, they also took safety very seriously, clearly advising us on how to stay safe on the water, which was reassuring for everyone. It was a beautiful, sunny, serene, and perfect send off for my Nan, and a large part of that is thanks to the compassionate and professional team at Avon Boating. Thank you so much for helping us give her the farewell she deserved. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a meaningful way to say goodbye. Xx

   Lovely boathouse. We booked in advance but there was no queue on the day we went. They have row boats, punts and motor boats. Good value for money, all under 16's have to wear a life jacket. Staff are great and clear instructions given on the direction you need to go under the bridges etc. We opted to try a punt - i was as surprised at the staff were we came back dry! It was challenging but well worth it.

   Only came here to pay for the boat trip. When paying there was a young lad, very chatty and good interactions with guests. When boarding , there was a young man very helpful in directing us in a shaded areas because of our son. Never driven a boat but felt like a captain for less than an hour. Highly recommend these guys and when getting your deposit, back the young lady also still had good interactions with

   Had a lovely short cruise down the river as part of an experience day. The boat was comfortable and the time spent on board was peaceful and serine. All in all a lovely time spent on the river and the staff helpful and polite. Would go again if we were ever in the area.

   Good place for boating and day out. You find plenty of car parking. The price is fair for longer stay. There is plenty of things to for kids and family as well for elderly or younger day out. There is public toilet available You can park using Cash, Card or using a Ring Go app. With the mobile parking application you can pay using any card type and also you can extend time and manage. There is plenty of space for picnic and seat plans available.

   Staff were Great, they talk you through everything. 10yr old Grandaughter was nervous and one guy took her down to the boats and sat her in one explaining everything and reassured her she would be safe. She was able to keep me right whilst I was behind the wheel. Staff also looked after youngest grandsons stroller. Motor boat was fun once you get used to steering... it isn't like a car and it's easy to over steer but soon got the hang of it.

   A lovely 30min cruise but was disappointed there was no welcome and no commentary. A quick google of some facts of the area for visitors would make it better. At the end we found out there was some sort of audio tapes but we were not offered them at any point. Speakers were on board but not in use. Shame really.

   Very nice, and cool attraction! With beautiful views all around you. Plus you can take a mobile device in boat with pre-recorded audio with touring info about all objects on your way with the boat. Totaly worth to try it out. Plus the prices for adults is very fair and only 7pounds. Highly recommending it! Enjoy.
