   I took my cat in as he collapsed at 11pm and I thought he'd had a stroke. The vet was very nice but really didn't know what was wrong and diagnostics really are not what this place is for. They did give him some charcoal just in case he had eaten something toxic but it was only my regular vet the next day who could diagnose an inner ear infection. He is very slowly on the mend now. I guess if he had been poisoned then it would have been helpful but the consult was very expensive and did not really give me the reassurance I needed. Considering moving to a vet with their own night service but I do really like my regular practice

   Our cat received exceptional care throughout the night from all staff at Vets Now. We were kept informed throughout by experienced and professional staff. I truly believe that their care and dedication is what enabled us to be able to bring our cat home well enough for us to look after him ourselves. Myself and my family want to wholeheartedly thank everyone at Vets Now for everything they did and would highly recommend their services.

   Not impressed. Rang at 11pm as my dog had fainted and was belly breathing. Told to come straight in. Sat for 40 mins before a vet registered us. In waiting room was a cat that had been mauled by dogs, a cat with a piece of tail chopped off and a large puppy with a very bad knee. They eventually looked at the mauled cat which was clearly dying after 1 hour of us being there. Two vets then came out and told the rest of us it would be a three hour wait to go home and gone back tomorrow or go elsewhere. One vet said to the people with the dog with a bad knee “ I’m not supposed to say this but give him aspirin” then when they went to walk out and the dog couldn’t walk she changed her mind thank god and saw the dog was in agony. We were told that put dog looked ok now, she had perked up so we decided to leave. Thus weekend we had to have put dog put to sleep because she had a tumour pressing on her heart and it had been there for ages hence the fainting which they did not show any concern about at the so called emergency vet! I went to MEAD with her the second time and they were 1/4 of the price, very concerned and very helpful. The vets now were a joke.

   Cannot put into words the care they gave Izzy. They were simply amazing. From the shock of Izzy needing emergency operation to the care they gave after, to both Izzy and myself. Only issue we had was with vets now, the overnight care. Wanted payment before they cared for my dog then referred to her as a cat!

   Our dog experienced an allergic reaction to something and we had to make an emergency call to the out of hours vets - Vets now at Thamesmead. As soon as we arrived we were checked in and taken in for the consultation and our dog was treated immediately. Everybody that we dealt was very professional, friendly and efficient. We were back home with our dog when on the mend within the space of an hour and half of making the emergency call. We were very impressed.

   Not recommended - no compassion at all when we lost our beloved 20 year old cat. We contacted Vets Now on 19/11/22 when our cat passed away at home. We were concerned about how we should be storing her body as she died at the weekend and couldn’t organise a cremation until the working week. The helpline staff were fabulous - compassionate and said sorry for our loss and they advised that they could store our cats body for us at our local Vets Now whilst we decided on our own cremation options which they said was a free of charge service. They arranged for us to take her in at 11.30pm. On arrival at the surgery , they firstly made us wait on the door before admitting us a few minutes later. As we approached the reception desk, the female staff member didn’t even look up, say hello or offer any explanation as to why she was absorbed in the computer screen. Her general manner was unprofessional all throughout - she was more concerned about reeling off the prices of cremations for our cat - we hadn’t even had chance to think it through - and wanted to charge us £90 odd pounds for storing her overnight for us, even though I explained we needed more time and we had been told they could store her whilst we were deciding. We had already handed over our cats body at this point and disgruntled, she got another colleague to come to basically say the same thing. We had just lost our beloved cat who had been part of our family for 20 years and all they were bothered about was trying to charge us money, which is contrary to the advice given on the helpline. In comparison to the wonderful and compassionate treatment we went on to have via Phoenix Pet Cremations, Vets Now were just awful and their attitude made a very stressful and upsetting time even more so. I’ll never use them again and will be making a formal complaint.

   I took Holly here last night. She's been to vets for pets 4 times in the last 10 days, but she had deteriorated over the weekend. The hospital was very busy with just one vet. Francisco Costa and his team were fantastic. He took the time to explain everything to me, in spite of how busy he was. Sadly, I had to let Holly go. There was no rush and I had time to say goodbye. Wonderful people. Thank you so much for your time.

   Heartbreakingly had to make the decision to put our beloved dog Fred to sleep. The vet we saw made everything a little bit easier, and treated him with so much kindness in his last hour. Thank you ❤️
