Ladies are so nice. My nails are awful. I bite them. They always do a great job. Their pedicures well what can I say other than absolutely amazing. I love my time in there. They work so hard. Thank you ladies x
one of my friends suggested i should go to this place so i did, best discovery ever! there always so polite and understanding, one lady made a mistake on my nail, but fixed it straight away! making my nails look so fab after, thank you!
Two lovely new girls who did the manicure and pedicure. They were very friendly. I have been to this salon many times but unfortunately the owner is never friendly. Which is such a shame. It's always nice to be welcomed somewhere.
I have gone to CK Nails every 3 weeks for over 5 years. This evening, they tried to charge me an extra £3 (£51 instead of £48), as I had a tiny bit of gel polish on my toe. I’ve never been charged this before and queried the price. It was such a small amount as I removed the rest myself and said I was not happy to pay the £3. I was told never to come back, despite being a long term customer. The member of staff said she didn’t care her boss was watching on the cameras. Such a shame I’ve always supported the small business, I really wish I hadn’t now. A completely over the top reaction to a £3 price query, when I’m a customer spending over £800 per year with them. Looking at the replies to previous reviews, I’m not hopeful I’m going to receive a respectful response, I’ll be at fault here some how. Never mind, better to have found out now than keep spending my money with a business that does not value their loyal customers. Will be heading into Stroud, which is actually much closer for me anyway - I only drove the extra distance as I mistakenly thought they were nice people and wanted them to succeed.
A decent enough gel manicure, but three harsh polish removals in a row (gel polish being ground off out, rather than fully soaked) have left my nails thin, weak and brittle. I won't be going back.
I have been going to Ck nails now for some time along with my daughters ..but will not be going back there again As I was totally humiliated by the owner in front of 2 other clients!! I couldn’t wait to get my nails done and get out!! Great shame
Really friendly, didn’t book and they gave a walk in appointment. Very reasonable prices and I am very happy with my nails. Thank you!
Was happy with my nails but the day after I got them done, the gel chipped off ( picture one ). I got them fixed with no charge but of course this was a nuisance. 4 days later one of my nails completely broke off ( picture 2 and 3). I then went to get it fixed and they charged me £3 on top of the £30 I had already paid! The nails were clearly too thin and not good enough quality, so shocked they asked me to pay! They also didn’t take very good care when fixing my nail and my skin and nail were very sore leaving the nail salon ( picture 4). Will not be returning and don’t recommend anyone else to unless they want to return to get their nails fixed numerous times!
1 star for work and 0 for customer service. Based on my own experience. Dear owner, you have refused to take my payment that I offered several times but took a photo of me instead saying I will be in trouble if I will not let you to remove your poor work. You are an aggressive, rude and very unprofessional man. I found it very humiliating and degrading the way you treated me just because I wasn’t happy with your work. You have refused to re-do my nails as “it was best you could do”. You made me cry, I was so upset by your attitude. Do you really think I have planned to walk away without payment? I came back with my Husband and offered to pay and asked for an apology. You said you want to make all customers happy, well, it works only if they have no complaints. Summarising all of the above: Manicure + shellac = £25 The master hasn’t even cleaned under my nails, the polish on my nails looks messy and not tidy. The owner was aggressive and rude. The owner has harassed and threatened me. I felt humiliated and embarrassed. I have decided to pay and leave as it is because I would not have any chance to sort my nails and I needed it for my holiday next day. Very upsetting and stressful experience. The pictures of the nails have been taken when I was still in the shop. Please see a bigger picture with a background of the shop. Dear owner, money are not everything, yes, you are relevantly cheap but there are so many other shops offering the same service and product, I am not even a little bit worried about finding a right place. Customer service these days is everything and I would strongly recommend to change your attitude. You said you banned me, well, whatever.
