Terrible experience. Queue to hand prescription in was 30 mins plus after out patient appointment. Then 40 mins plus to dispense prescription. No one answers the phone. Was told would be 15 minutes to dispense a prescription when staff had item in their hand when I escalated it. If it’s 15 minutes for every dispense then no wonder taking so long the queue. I asked and they said short staffed so why are you short staffed ? Happy to discuss experience for this to improve but it seems currently no desire too.

This pharmacy is an absolute disgrace. The manager is non-existent and when she is there shows no leadership, constantly rude to both staff and patients. The supervisor is just as unprofessional, clearly out of their depth. Customer service is appalling – complaint after complaint goes nowhere. Nothing ever improves. This place needs a serious investigation and, quite frankly, should be shut down.

Inadequate facilities for people having to queue for up to 30 mins to submit a prescription. I have arthritis and found the standing very painful. The waiting area with chairs was unassailable on that day. My number was 234 which kept appearing on screen as please wait. After 60 mins I questioned why it was taking so long. They said they didn’t have the complete order so did I want to return another day of take what they had. I took what they had after having to wait again for it to be re submitted. A week later they messaged to let me know they now had the remainder in stock. I do not rate this service.

I agree with all of the bad reviews, I was sent away saying that they owed me medication that I have paid for and that I would receive a call to tell me when it would be ready. Its been 8 days with no contact from them. I have tried ringing however the phone is never answered and even cut off after one ring. I hold little hope of receiving this outstanding medication at this rate. I was also told that I could have it delivered free of charge, but I was told that last time I had outstanding medication to collect only to be told subsequently that they do not offer this service. It is a shambles and something needs to be done about it.

I wouldn’t give one star if I didn’t have to. This lot couldn’t organise a party in a pub. Absolutely farcical Script sent from clinic electronically yesterday afternoon. Went to collect at 8.30 this morning. Waited half hour to be given a numbered ticket. Then had to wait another half hour for the medication to be dispensed and my ticket number to be called. In the hour I was waiting 3 high grade nurses were also waiting. Presumably being from busy wards or clinics Staff wandering around with absolutely no sense of urgency. I’m asking for scripts to be prescribed by my gp in future. Why can’t scripts be sent electronically to a local nominated pharmacy and cut this incompetence out

0 stars. Awful service, says come to the desk on the screen and then you're told its not even ready and to go back outside, wait time says 24mins and I waited well over 40 minutes and I haven't even got my full prescription and I have to go back and pay more parking charges probably to wait just as long. Service really needs sorting out!

Didn't have the inhaler in stock (which is a standard staple inhaler) said they would arrange for me to be able to collect from anither branch. Four days later, still waiting and have had to contact customer service and losge a complaint. Not good enough.

Would love to give a minus! It’s taking nearly 10 hours for my partner to be discharged because of this useless pharmacy! He was told at 9am he can be discharged, 8.45pm he’s still waiting all his meds. Because of this he’s missed an arranged lift home, and now has to pay £20 for a taxi. He’s tired, been through two surgeries in a week, and this has just about finished him. We will be making a formal complaint!

It’s communication that’s the problem. They never seem to call as soon as the required medication is ready for collection. They also rarely answer the phone, this may be due to being understaffed, I don’t know. It’s just frustrating. If I need urgent help or updates from the hospital pharmacy I have to call PALS for them to intervene, who are superb!

It's almost as if they go out of their way to not dispense my medication. They have one job and that is to dispense what the doctor writes on my prescription, but thanks to them I am now low on my transplant medications. I mean the doctor wrote her number on the prescription so any issues could be directed to her however, they refused to call her and refused me my much needed medication.
