   Me and my partner had just got a prescription from the out of hours doctor for anti-biotics and had only received it about 10 minutes before this pharmacy close. The pharmacist was amazing and waited a bit long for us to get there and was very professional in his service. 10/10 recommend!

   Omg i just want to thank this place and I have so much respect for this pharmacy. I got there just before they were about to closed and he stayed open for an hour longer until my daughter prescription had come through although there was a few technical difficulty with the systems but got there in the end. Thank you again.

   I am writing to raise a concern about my recent experience at Windmill Road Pharmacy, Coventry. I attended the pharmacy to collect a prescription that had been issued via NHS 111, as my GP had not prescribed my medication in time for me to collect it from my usual pharmacy. Upon arrival, the staff member who served me was initially polite and went to process my medication. However, when he returned, he explained that because the prescription came from NHS 111, the pharmacy could not see my full medication record and therefore could not proceed. I clarified that the prescription had been issued from my repeat medication list, and I even contacted NHS 111 again, who confirmed that this is the standard procedure: they generate the prescription and send it directly to the pharmacy for collection. At this point, I was feeling overwhelmed and unwell mentally, and I asked the staff member if he could kindly explain the situation further so I could better understand. Unfortunately, his response was, “I haven’t got time, I’m busy.” This comment left me feeling very upset and unsupported at a time when I was already struggling with my mental health. I understand that pharmacies can be extremely busy, but I believe patients should still be treated with compassion and understanding—particularly when they are unwell and asking for help. I felt dismissed and humiliated by the way I was spoken to.

   Went in with my prescription and the pharmacist (Asian guy in his late 50's) said he couldn't process my prescription as it had faded away due to me getting soaked in the rain. So he turned me away and I have to say he was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. Five minutes later I went to Foleshill Pharmacy down the road and they processed my prescription without any questions being asked. Go to Foleshill pharmacy as a late night option and not this one.

   The pharmacist has fabulous knowledge of the who pharmaceutical business. He doesn't stock a lot of the usual rubbish that people blindly take for colds etc but will advise you on what is better for you. Goes out of the way to assist. I'm a regular user here and have witnessed many of the issues people face from day to day, with many people taking up the advice and going happily on their way.

   After attending the walk in centre with my child I was given a prescription for antibiotics which I anticipated I was going to have trouble obtaining on a Saturday night and I was right. I started phoning all chemists that were open at at the time and none had any in stock. Thankfully the gentleman at Windmill pharmacy had a weaker dosage and advised me to speak to the doctor and ask him to change the prescription to double the dosage even offering to speak to the doctor himself. On collecting the antibiotics the pharmacist even advised me of some home remedies that would help my child. Thank you for your help and excellent service.

   This is a 5 star pharmacy. I had to go there during the week late at night to get an emergency prescription cashed after having to rush my partner to the walk in centre. The prescription was cashed quickly and the pharmacist kindly gave me a cup of water so my partner could take his medication before we set off home. Highly recommended.
