   the shop assistant today in the children’s shoe section was really really helpful with my son with special needs , she went above and beyond picking out shoes ect that would help him this evening in the children’s section when I explained why he needed a wide fit toe shoe due to his foot operation & that he’s autistic and doesn’t like change. She helped pick out other shoes with wide fit and was extremely patient with my son who was clearly struggling with the busy environment ect and the change to shoes ect I didn’t get the lady’s name but she honestly deserves a pay rise as she was AMAZING Thankyou again Sports Direct

   Consistently rude staff on the top floor near the golf/swimming/footwear checkout, that seem to have normalized a culture of unprofessionalism and who certainly were not hired for any real customer-facing skills: Warning customers that “the store is closing” as early as 6, well before its posted closing at 6:30, because “we have to prepare to close early”. Selectively telling customers that they need to checkout on the ground floor due to a “staff shortage”, immediately prior to the same staff member checking out another customer. Selectively chasing down customers from out of the blue to aggressively ask for their changing room item quantities, instead of politely attending.

   They don’t offer refunds only credit. Also the staff is so unhelpful ??? This guy saw me with my baby and still went to the half of the room to follow him so I can sit down and try the shoes ??? I just wanted the box to pay for it . Not offering refunds is absolutely insane !

   I visited Sports Direct in Leicester today to buy a pair of shoes, and I was really impressed with the service. Ameer Mohamed went above and beyond to help me – he was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He not only guided me to the right pair of shoes but also suggested good quality socks to go with them. Excellent customer service – thank you, Ameer!

   Lots of variety. Good sale items. Plenty of stock and staff helpful. Changing rooms - you need to ask staff to unlock a room for you as they are locked. If you don't realise this or read the signs, you will be just waiting forever. Whilst waiting for my partner, I told 3 people that the rooms need to be unlocked to use. They all did not realise this.
