   Our experience with Holden Smith has been extremely poor. We were repeatedly asked to resend documents, given unclear instructions, and even told to contact the buyer’s solicitor ourselves, which defeats the purpose of hiring them. Delays on their side forced us to chase constantly and even liaise directly with the buyer to prevent the sale from collapsing. Communication was terrible. Our onward solicitor received no reply from Zain regarding move dates and asked us to chase instead. He then started moving things forward without liaising with our onward solicitors, leaving the estate agent to confirm balances. When Zain went on holiday, we were passed to Tom, but things only got worse, Holden Smith held up the process by not sending funds to our onward solicitor. When we called, Tom sounded unprepared and unbothered, and despite follow-up emails and calls, we received no meaningful updates. This lack of care caused us to be five hours behind schedule on completion day. To make matters worse, Holden Smith said they would get back to us about our complaint, but they never did. Overall, we ended up doing much of the work ourselves and dealing with the stress of mistakes, delays, and poor communication. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend them.

   Just completed a house sale with Anam Sardar and Zain Khan with this branch. They are a brilliant team if you want to buy or sell a property. Quick and efficient and respond back straight away with any questions or queries you have. Thank you to both of them for making this a calm process and dealing with things as quickly as you could. I definitely recommend and i will also use them again in the future if needed. Price wise is also very good.

   We had a really good experience with Holden Smith Law. We were on a tight deadline buying our house due to the upcoming stamp duty changes. Emily Fraser specifically was super patient with us, always responded quickly to emails and kept us updated along the way. Daniel Cox was also very helpful and informative whenever we spoke to him. All the team at Holden Smith helped us get our purchase completed before the end of March saving us a small fortune.

   Incredibly slow start when starting with our house purchase case, we had to chase on every stage which we didn't expect. The app wasn't updated which lead us to calling and emailing, which was a task in itself. Our solicitor left the company and Holden Smith did not notify us about this - Shocking! However the case was passed over to Daniel Cox and Lauren Braithwaite. Lauren has been amazing, very responsive and provided us with all the information we needed to keep us satisfied. She handled the remaining tasks very quickly and thoroughly. If she had handled our case from the beginning I would have rated 5 Stars!

She identified issues during the sale and identified effective solutions. She kept to deadlines even though the selling market was very busy. I would highly recommend Holden Smith.
