   Slow and unreliable! Our poor buyer has spent months for this mediocre firm to actually do their job. Difficult to get hold off and they have every excuse over the sun as to why they haven’t sent forms or contacted someone! At all costs avoid this unprofessional company. They must take real joy out of breaking down chains and exchanges falling through!

   Used this firm to purchase my first property and I had never dealt with any solicitors prior so this was all new to me. Overall they were very poor and I found the lady dealing with my case to be rude when it came to the lack of updates, communication and reply’s from her. I repeatedly phoned and she never answered the phone first time which meant I had to leave voicemails and send emails which were Ignored. This was after I had politely requested an update numerous times. The whole thing frustrated me so much that I ended up taking matters into my own hands and speaking directly to the seller and his solicitor for updates and to get things moving. For the amount of money they are charging, I expected a much better service. (I was assigned to another lady late on in the process who immediately gave me an in depth update as to where I was and what was needed, she was much better and within 2 weeks I had completed and moved in. she has my thanks). I even submitted a formal complaint and the man who told me he would investigate this has not replied or given me any update. I eventually gave up and wanted it all to end so much I paid the full amount they requested even though they didn’t deserve it. I am told that Dacre Son & Hartley in Bingley have stopped recommending their services and that there are plenty of better choices in the area and will be going elsewhere in the future. Extremely poor service, mentally draining and I would not recommend to anyone. Go elsewhere!

   Used this firm to purchase my first property. I had to chase them for every step of the way, contact was so poor. Weeks of not progressing, I had to contact everyone else in the chain to sort the issue as the solicitors weren’t. Completion date was set and on the day itself I have to call to find out what is going on only to be told that they don’t have everything prepared and it would have to be the day after. Poor service from start to finish, would not recommend to anyone.
