   I have had the pleasure to work with the team at The Lady Byron School for a number of years. They are incredibly supportive and solution focused with the young people they work with and the parents and professional colleagues from referring schools. They all have a significant amount of experience working with students with autism and the impact they make is incredible. I have also witnessed the positive outcomes from the students that have recently transitioned to this school. The bespoke, person centered curriculum offers students the opportunity to re-engage in education and reach their full potential. Thank you for all your support, guidance and advice.

   An excellent, values lead school. The staff are outstandingly dedicated and person centred. Their safeguarding policies and procedures are robust and give a sense of confidence in their capabilities as practitioners. I observed that staff can change their communication methods to meet the need of each learner. I will continue to watch the progress of this wonderful establishment with interest.    When three families leave a school in the first term of opening you have to wonder what’s going on. This ‘school’ we had such high hopes for. But be warned.. there is no transparency here. Question their policies and procedures and you’ll met with hostility and be shut down. If you are considering this school.. be sure to record every conversation, every ‘promise and commitment’ because rest assured they won’t all materialise. If you have a more than capable child.. be prepared they will not be doing any GCSE’s beyond maths and English. They will tell you otherwise. This place had such potential, but the owners don’t listen to concerns or advise, preferring to believe they know the children better than their parents. If you are thinking about this place: try to speak to the families who have experienced it. The information they can give you will be very illuminating.

   What can we say as a family we personally would like to thank all the amazing staff for your dedication in fulfilling and making my granddaughter faith the happiest she as ever been. She is full of life and craves the interaction and enjoyment of school life. She has learned so much in the short time with you guys that’s she ever experienced in all her school life. We are so grateful for lady Byron school for are beautiful social butterfly who is just full of joy and totally loves attending school ❤️❤️❤️

   I have worked with the Senior team for many years and have found them to be an extremely caring and compassionate management team. All of the staff go above and beyond for the students. I have found the proprietor and the Head Teacher to show integrity and work open and honesty to both staff and students. The staff have an abundance of expertise, which shows. The significant positive input they have made to students and families alike is astonishing. Keep up the great work.

   We are beyond grateful to this school and the way they have helped our daughter in so many ways. She is safe and happy there and the staff work hard to provide a nurturing environment for her. She has a time table individualised to incorporate her own interests, English and Maths, as well as teaching about social and emotional challenges she faces. We have noticed a huge positive change in her since she started!
