   Such a wonderful dance school with a family feel! My daughters have been Dancing with Helen Guy since they were tiny and absolutely love their lessons. It’s not like other dance schools! Such a wonderful warm group of friendly students who really look out for each other. The older student teachers are so wonderful with the younger children and they really look upto them. We feel proud to be part of such a wonderful school and the annual show blows me away year on year with the talent and love that goes into them. Each student is valued the same regardless of if they dance once a week or every night. The teachers are warm friendly and approachable and really care about the students. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wishing to start their dance journey.

   I can highly recommend Helen Guy Dance Academy. Both my girls dance here. My eldest started at age 5 and she is now 14! My youngest is 9! They attend majority of classes on offer as they just love being at the academy. All the teachers are amazing and offer the girls fabulous opportunities to take part in some wonderful events - we have been to Disneyland Paris, Blackpool Winter Gardens, Birmingham Hippodrome, The 02 and lots more along with annual shows, competitions and attending local events. Everyone is super friendly and we all all look out for each other and help each other. I would have no hesitation in recommending the academy to anyone who is looking for a friendly dance school for their child.

   My my daughter has been attending lessons at Helen Guy for 5 years and has enjoyed every minute. The dance school is like a big family where the tutors and principle really care about the children and bring out the best in them. There are a good range of classes and the annual show is fantastic, very professionally put together and an amazing experience for the dancers.

   Such a fantastic dance school and second family. My two girls have been dancing here for around 7 years now and have loved every minute! They started off with 1 lesson a week and now we are on to 4. The girls have been to Disneyland paris, London, Skegness, Scarborough and soon to be Hunstanton as well as many other places to dance. Their confidence has come on no end and they are beautiful dancers because of what they have been taught. Not only are the dance teachers supportive but so are the other parents and the children (of all ages) supportive of each other. It truly is a dance family and was amazing to see them back on stage for another fantastic show! Thank you to Helen, Charlotte and Selina for their time and knowledge. My girls absolutely adore you!

   My little girl has been going to Helen guy since she was 3 years old. She is now 8. Not only has she thrived in confidence but they make her feel soo welcome, they are like her second family. I couldnt recommend any other dance academy more than Helen Guy. Thank you soo much for everything you do for all the children. They all love u and your dance academy.

   I've been part of the HGDA Extended Family for the past 12 years, helping at the annual show and the charity show in the lighting box. It's always a great laugh and it's amazing to see the kids really enjoy taking part. It's tough, the standards are high, but everyone just wants to put on a great show for the audience. The past two years have been without a show and it was brilliant to be back this year creating some amazing dances and also seeing how happy everyone was to be back on stage. Miss Helen is one of the nicest people I know. She cares so much for everyone involved and goes out of her way to make them all feel welcome. She sets exceptionally high standards and it's reflected in the performances on stage. A true professional who I am proud to call a friend. I was surprised to see a recent negative review on here following the show. Firstly, this person needs to remember that safeguarding is a priority, and people cannot be taking their own pictures. Secondly, it would seem that this person only ever leaves negative reviews, and so I'd take them with (not even) a pinch of salt.
