Decent educational standards but , rules are extremely strict which put massive amount of pressure and stress on children .
My son with SEN & and EHCP was given a conditional offer when I applied through their website via Applicaa portal. The offer was accepted in February. The academy was very well aware he has SEN. He is extremely passionate about engineering and was looking forward to study there. He worked hard to get good grades in his GCSE mocks. His teachers were so proud of him and they wanted him to pursue engineering. Yesterday when we went for the Taster session he was turned down saying they can't support his needs. My son was so disappointed. They had time from February till June to inform us but failed to do so. Their website clearly says students with EHCP can apply. When other children can pursue the courses of their choice why should students with SEN be left out? If they have the ability to study and thrive shouldn't they be encouraged & supported? In today's day and age even companies are hiring people with disabilities in their work force. We have some brilliant minds amongst people with Autism. Which primitive age are these guys living in. So disappointed WMG Coventry. ..you need to change your mentality.

A great Academy with very experienced staff. This is the place to come to if you are interested in a career that involves Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. There is an impressive Engineering Hall and CAD suite plus modern learning bases where practical lessons take place alongside regular lessons.
great school. very supportive staff, and strong in all areas of learning, my son got an apprenticeship with Jaguar Land Rover as a direct result of the the knowledge attained here.
This is a great school, If you are looking at going into any type of engineering you should go here, mechanical, design, computers, electrical you name it and you can do it here. you go on lots of trips and there's even a greenpower team. it makes it even better that they are partners with JLR(jaguar landrover), the national grid and more. I recommend this place for anyone
This is my son's school from year 10 to 13 and he loves it. It makes them do a longer day with after school activities and has a focus on engineering but is still strong in all other areas like English science and maths.
