Lost my Key and as part of their replacement program, they take over a year for it to be replaced and it’s still not replaced . If you cancel it to go to another insurer, they charge you Β£400 due to small print terms and conditions. It’s a flawed Key Cover for key protection with their default supplier as AA keycover. Do not recommend keycare keycover services.

Appalling service!! It's shocking how this company have gone above and beyond to not honour a claim. This, alongside the shocking customer service received by both Catherine and Tye over the phone deserves 0 stars and 1 star is much too high for the service I received today. They have refused to cover my faulty key soley for the reason that my commercial vehicle has its commercial business address on my V5 logbook which is different to my residential address. Despite me owning both the vehicle and the address at which it's registered to. What do they expect!! It's a commercial vehicle and therefore will of course be registered at its commercial address. To refuse cover solely for this is shocking and extremely bad practice from a large organisation where you would clearly expect better from. I first spoke to Catherine who was unsure so said she will check with her manager Simon Webster. She returned and made me aware of this information. When I asked to speak to Simon he was suddenly unavailable and remained unavailable for the rest of the day. Very deceitful and underhanded tactics used. I don't expect to ever receive a call back from Simon! I then rang back and said in order to comply with their insane policy that I will change the address saved on the system to match the address on my V5. This is where customer representative Tye's lack of common sense and logic prevailed, stating that a new claim would have to be made and this cannot be used for an existing claim. I would urge anyone to avoid this company and stay as far away from them as possible!! There are lots of competent, polite and professional companies available. The customer service is non existent, there is no discretion or common sense applied. The staff are not even aware of their own illiterate policies themselves much less trying to explain them to customers.

Don’t get why there are so many bad reviews. I lost my car keys. Got some made myself by a reputable company as it was a Japanese import and AA could not make them. I was given the money by keycare within 48 hours after sending them a pic of my V5, a receipt and proof of payment.

10 days after I've started a claim and I've finally had a call from AA key care saying they can get me in next Tuesday? Be aware if you lose your keys and claim with key care they'll just leave you without a vehicle for 2 weeks, all for a service I could have had done on the day by an auto locksmith for about 200 quid, every time they call you they will come us with a reason and say 2 days but then after those 2 days you'll find out that was just to make the next step in the progression of getting it done, 2 weeks later and I'm still without a car, also been informed the replacement key won't even be a branded one, so not like for like, OEM swapped for crap Chinese copy!

Great service! I have had a tag, arranged by the AA, on my keys for over 10 years and when I lost my keys forgot it was there. Within 20 minutes I received a text asking me to call and, after going through a few security questions, the agent gave me the name and phone number of the finder. Does exactly as expected, but better!

I have not been covered with this company for a number of years but to my cost I have found what a dispicable company they are. Last evening during a charrity santa collection I lost my Keys unfortunately their tag was on the Key ring. The keys have been found and they refuse to return them they cannot be in their possession as they are over 50 miles away. They want me to renew my policy in order to get the Keys which I will not do, its cheaper to purchase a new fob, so I guess they will be shoving the keys where the sun dont shine. dont touch them they are not a honest compay they should have told the finder that I am no longer with them.

Terrible experience - wriggled out of honouring a claim due to an administrative error with addresses - even though they admitted they knew it was me and my vehicle. Very poor and would avoid. Waste of money.

They will insure you against everything...except things that are likely to happen. If you lose your keys outside of your house, you won't be insured. Their phone staff refuse to give any guidance on what is and what is t covered when you find yourself in an emergency. They leave you to guess whether you are covered or not, to order and pay for a locksmith...only to be told immediately after "oops you weren't covered". Should be honest with people before they order a locksmith.
