   I do most of my shopping online so it was almost a shock to be able to just ask for help from one of the many courteous staff. And to be able to see and touch what I wanted to buy was great.

   We came to John Lewis because we had some vouchers and they allow dogs. Our previous experience was very good. We spent our vouchers, spending almost £300 pounds. We decided to get a coffee in the ground floor café, not the main restaurant, which has hard flooring. We sat at a table with our puppy dog and then my wife went to order. As I waited I was approached by a staff member and asked if it was a service dog. I said she was not and was told I had to leave. We then had to cancel our order and leave. There is no signage to say no pets in the café and there are loads of cafes that allow pets. It was very disappointing considering the store policy and not the main restaurant.

   My little girl is old enough to help me now, but I’ll never fail to be impressed with how the JL cafe staff take care of new mums with babes who need assistance, the elderly etc. Watching the staff today reminded me of the same great service I received five years ago ❤️ Love the My JL rewards card for the occasional free hot drink and am rather fond of this blackberry and mascarpone cake. It’s an easy choice to visit when at Cribbs.

   A huge department store in Cribbs Causeaway. There is a huge variety of products being sold there, most of them on the pricier side in my opinion, but still very interesting to explore and shop. The location is not very convenient for people who commute and don’t live nearby, but it’s manageable.

   John Lewis is a large department store at Cribbs Causeway. It was a legendary reputation for good customer service. It sells all household products, white goods, TV, radios and digital equipment and accessories including mobile phones. It had a sports department selling keep fit equipment and clothes. It had a mens and womens fashion department. It has a great range of beds, bedding towels and curtains from bespoke to ready to hang ranges. They also provide a measure and fit service for curtains at an extra price. There are toilets on every floor, main toilets in the basement next to the toy department and large toilets on the top floor next to the cafe. There is a nice cafe in the basement which I'd always busy to a large cafe-restaurant on the top floor. Expect queues at lunch time. They serve good value snacks. We had chicken and vegetables soup to day with a baguette and this was a very filling lunch for only £5.50 each.

   The choice is just spectacular. Specially during the festive holiday season. The atmosphere in there is amazing and love it that when we visited they even had a violinist playing live.

   A great store, huge and with a fantastic variety of stock. Friendly staff and everywhere is clean! The cafe in the basement has been updated since I was last here, and yhe staff working in there deserve special mention, they were kind and went the extra mile for their customers. Plenty of free parking spaces outside the store. Oh, and I forgot.....JL now allow doggies in their stores! Great idea!
