The University of South Wales building is modern in its architecture yet remains welcoming and warm. The classrooms are well lit and equipped with up-to-date IT facilities that support effective teaching and learning. The campus is conveniently located close to the city centre, making commuting straightforward. Its position near the River Usk provides pleasant views and adds to the overall appeal of the setting. Parking is also convenient, with the Kingsway public car park located directly opposite the building, just a short walking distance away. I visited the university for a Welsh ICE meeting held in the boardroom. Although my time on site was brief, my overall impression of the facilities and environment was very positive.

In my 2nd year, third semester learning Childhood Studies. Library is brilliantly stocked with all sorts of different academic journals from a range of set-topics and ages. Also very close to town so if u wanna pop in to get some scran or go for pint later on a Friday night like, you can! Only 4 stars though because as much as there is some really amazing staff, a lot of things are now online, including printers, some journals, and admissions. Makes it hard if you don't know how to use them already. Other than that it is brill! Also, Newport Library & Museum is only a walk away, so there that! Enjoy the pics below!! P.s, this is not final, as I might amend this in the future, so stay tuned!!

University of South Wales - Newport Campus is a fantastic place to study or attend conferences. The campus is absolutely stunning with a very attractive structure and plan. The university offers many features including a canteen with great quality food (although can be a bit pricey sometimes) as well as a very effective library with hundreds of books that are available to borrow.

Studying at the University of South Wales was more than just an academic journey for me. I felt supported every step of the way (( from lecturers who were always ready to listen, to an environment )) that encouraged me to grow both academically and professionally. The balance of challenge and ((encouragement)) helped me discover strengths I didn’t know I had, and that’s something I’ll always carry with me.

University of South Wales is an extraordinary organisation to work alongside. I currently study at this specific campus which has been a treat. The campus is absolutely stunning with a very attractive structure and plan. The university offers numerous features both academically and facilities to use surrounding the students, these include a canteen with great quality food (although can be a bit pricey sometimes) as well as a very effective library with hundreds of books that are available to borrow and are highly valuable to use for your studies. As for me, the course I am on is Cyber Security which is a brilliant course which gives students the resources to carry out their research and studies and excel in their field with a personal computer as well as a room allocated to the group that you are in to give you a working space and simulate the real working industry that is out there. Overall, the Newport City Campus is an incredibly campus to be associated with and my future years here are very much anticipated.
