“University of South Wales - Newport Campus is a fantastic place to study or attend conferences. The campus is absolutely stunning with a very attractive structure and plan. The university offers many features including a canteen with great quality food (although can be a bit pricey sometimes) as well as a very effective library with hundreds of books that are available to borrow.”
“Beautiful Campus, sufficient facilities... Definitely where a student should be!!!!!!”
“This is one-off the best music and theatre groups I know, the lady and gent that runs this business are amazing, they put them self out for other people and makes it feel like a family, they welcome everyone with open arms and does their best. My self and my kids attend here and have never had any issues only had a great experience.”
“WOW...what can I say about RUAS. Very Professional in their approach to Flight Training..The online Learning package is very thorough but easy to follow in steps.its set at a good pace, alot to take in at first, but RUAS are Always on hand for advice. The whole team I cannot fault tbh, and the training/ practical day we had at Coleg Sir Gar Campus near Carmarthen was again well run and all helpful input by RUAS staff. If your looking for advice or any training, look up these guys, based near Newport. I went from a complete Novice, to fully trained in the use of UAVs with RUAS. Keep up the Fab work.”
“Lovely staff !! Yummy croissants Loved the atmosphere and especially the wall painting Had the meal + hot drink just @£5”
“My daughter has been going to Cast for 4 years now and she still loves it. She has been given some amazing opportunities to play some fantastic parts. The productions Cast put on are always very professional and the children are all fabulous. They also provide and make all the costumes themselves. I can't fault Cast and the whole team, they are all very friendly and approachable.”
“I was a student here for a couple years, starting in 2012. Really enjoyed my time here. The facilities and classrooms are all excellent and the staff care and take the time to listen. It’s a large campus and has lots of amenities surrounding it such as cafes, shops and a park just behind the college. The buses run frequently from the front of the campus to most areas, with the busiest being Blackwood. Excellent campus and highly recommended for studying.”
“A classic, long-established further education location, with practical as well as IT, Office technology, and Access to Higher Education, (university) courses all in one place at Nash Road, Newport, as well as other subjects in a variety of University campuses.”
“As soon as you walk in you are put at ease, you are asked if you would like anything to drink. When you go in to see the assessor it is calm and polite which again makes you feel at ease. There are two screens so you know exactly what the assessor is writing. Overall the assessors go above and beyond to try and help you with anything that is needed, very pleasant, polite and easy to talk to.”
“Only time I really visited this school was for an Africamp meeting. Well for the stay atleast it was a great looking campus and the hall facilities provided us with a good presentation!”
“This is the college number 1 in UK and number 2 about political, medicine and economy education in UK”
“So glad when this Tesco opened. We needed one in West Adamsdown. It's well stocked and has long hours. Beggers have taken to hanging out in front, so they've had to tighten security, which is a shame. It's not the staff's fault. It's the fault of the police & council, so if you don't like it, complain to them.”
“I had one of the most positive and heartwarming experiences at VFS Global Cardiff, thanks to two extraordinary women — one Asian lady and one Black lady — whose names I sadly didn’t catch, so I can only refer to them by appearance. I truly wish I knew their names, because they deserve to be personally acknowledged and celebrated. These two women didn’t just provide good service — they went far beyond anything we expected. With grace, empathy, and incredible patience, they helped us through a very difficult and stressful situation. I won’t go into detail, but what they did for us was far more than routine assistance — it was genuine human kindness at its finest. Their professionalism, compassion, and willingness to help made a world of difference for us. We walked in feeling overwhelmed, and walked out feeling supported and deeply grateful. VFS Global is truly lucky to have them. Thank you both — from the bottom of our hearts.”
