“Founded in 1249 by William of Durham, University College (or Collegium Magnae Aulae Universitatis, as its Latin name states) is one of the oldest colleges in the University of Oxford. Next to the marvellous sandstone quadrangles, beautifully maintained and always adorned by splendid floral arrangements, Univ (as it is known amongst Oxonians) features a marble memorial to the poet Percy Shelly, a former student of the college banned for his heretical writings. Many of the treasures, such as a tiny door in the 90 High St building which may well have been an inspiration for a similar door in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, are not usually accessible to the general public, since Univ does not regularly admit visitors. If asked politely, the porters will usually allow visitors to see the Shelley Memorial, and even the magnificent chapel with its stained glass windows.”

“Our son is loving the afternoon group at Reading West - he's met such a lovely group of children of a range of ages. Older children who can inspire and motivate him, others of the same secondary school age who he can relate to and connect with and younger children who he likes to support. Each week he returns full of smiles and enthusiasm about the drama activities they have covered and he loves working towards a performance or showcase every term. Yasmin and her team make this fun, supportive and a brilliant opportunity for anyone interested in any aspect of drama to learn while having a great time.”

Although online, have made some great friends and contacts and there are great opportunities to volunteer across the university in a variety of different roles for students.”

“To me studying Nursing in UWL Berkshire was the best opportunity I’ve ever had in pursuing a dream career. Location was very convenient situated within various transportation routes shopping centre included areas of part time employment opportunities. UWL Berkshire have a suitable and reliable facilities, security systems and safety features to ensure Student are always safe. Studying career and UwL Berkshire felt quite easy with the well structured, informative stocked and efficiently managed Library facility to enhance Studies in all the various career path ways offered was so inviting that you would not want to miss a day. “We have a large twin axle 5 ton motorhome that needs to be MOT’d at commercial premises due to size and weight. The team at UCV were fantastic from initial booking confirming they regularly deal with motorhomes through to the MOT its self. On first check it failed due to handbrake tolerance and rather than me having to leave the vehicle and come back in a couple of days, they offered to see if the could rectify it with an adjustment there and then - an hour later and all sorted and re checked and passed - absolutely first class service and saved me having take further time off to go back and forth - the team are a pleasure to deal with and have certainly won a new loyal customer in me - many thanks and I will certainly be recommending you - Simon”
