“We have absolutely loved our time at Baby College, and are truly sad to be moving on. George is such an incredible teacher, taking time to get to know all of the littles AND their parents (not sure how she keeps everyone’s names in her head!!). I have learnt so much about child development and activities to do with my boys, and the boys have really grown in confidence and curiosity. It really has been one of the highlights of the week. Thanks so much George xx”
“I recently completed my IT certification exams here, and couldn't ask for anything more. The college is very accessible, has a pleasant atmosphere with helpful staff, and provided a seamless and stress-free experience throughout. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to take their exams in-person.”
“A gorgeous complex. The central square is a world away from the bustling city outside. The chapel is amazing.....the artwork behind the altar is one of a kind. Breathtaking.”
“My husband and I had a lovely time at the rings and dragons event. It was beautifully lit and in a lovely venue with lots of parking available. The pieces were well picked and very well played. Really recommend for a relaxing evening out!”
“Has got to be one of the most beautiful colleges in Oxford. Phenomenal architecture.”
“Founded in 1249 by William of Durham, University College (or Collegium Magnae Aulae Universitatis, as its Latin name states) is one of the oldest colleges in the University of Oxford. Next to the marvellous sandstone quadrangles, beautifully maintained and always adorned by splendid floral arrangements, Univ (as it is known amongst Oxonians) features a marble memorial to the poet Percy Shelly, a former student of the college banned for his heretical writings. Many of the treasures, such as a tiny door in the 90 High St building which may well have been an inspiration for a similar door in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, are not usually accessible to the general public, since Univ does not regularly admit visitors. If asked politely, the porters will usually allow visitors to see the Shelley Memorial, and even the magnificent chapel with its stained glass windows.”
“Beautiful setting. Fit for purpose, World Adventurer Day. It needs some serious funds to modernise or even give a face lift to our Adventist treasure that gives so much. Well maintained grounds and buildings. The time has come for us to give back.”
“Lots of green areas, fresh air, beautiful paths to enjoy”
“Our son is loving the afternoon group at Reading West - he's met such a lovely group of children of a range of ages. Older children who can inspire and motivate him, others of the same secondary school age who he can relate to and connect with and younger children who he likes to support. Each week he returns full of smiles and enthusiasm about the drama activities they have covered and he loves working towards a performance or showcase every term. Yasmin and her team make this fun, supportive and a brilliant opportunity for anyone interested in any aspect of drama to learn while having a great time.”
“I usually get a level 3 student to cut my hair who always does a good job very professional and always supervised. I would definitely recommend to anyone they would get a good hair cut at a reduced cost to the High Street and also help with training”
“Unbelievable, life changing, relaxing treatments! I cannot praise enough. Every session has been proffessional and revitalizing. Never rule out acupuncture where other’s treatments for your body have failed.”
“Best tennis courts ever seen! The closed courts are just spectacular!”
“The University of Reading’s London Road Campus will always hold a very special place in my heart. As my alma mater, I feel truly proud to have studied here. The campus itself is steeped in history and character, with a unique charm that makes it stand out from more modern university sites. The atmosphere is inspiring and serene, and it creates the perfect environment for both study and reflection. One of the most memorable experiences for me was having my graduation ceremony in the beautiful Great Hall — a truly historic and meaningful venue that adds to the sense of tradition and achievement. Beyond the campus, Reading as a city has been a wonderful place to live. Over the course of seven years, I found it welcoming, supportive, and full of opportunities. Both the city and the university gave me invaluable experiences, knowledge, and personal growth that I will always cherish. I am grateful for everything I gained during my time here and would wholeheartedly recommend the University of Reading to anyone seeking not only academic excellence but also a place that leaves a lasting impact on your life.”
“I am so excited for going to my new college on September to meet my new friend and my new teacher My beautiful helper Alice”

“Deenway Montessori School had been life changing for my children and myself as a mother. We moved here to Reading from Singapore so our children can attend this amazing school. My 3 kids are thriving in every area and are balanced well behaved, caring cgildren and are doing amazingly academically too. We love the community that comes with the school and the Headteacher is doing an outstanding job at providing the children with a balanced education. Would recommend to anyone intrested in investing into their whole child and being part of a vision for many generations to come. May God bless this school.”
“I would say that Pangbourne is a wonderful, supportive School that creates amazing opportunities for its pupils and encourages them to reach their own personal goals in a nurturing, team spirited environment. We have a girl in the sixth form and a boy who has just joined and both are blossoming and flourishing each day. Their confidence in themselves and with others has grown and they are excelling academically and in extra curricular activities. Best decision we have made.”
“Beautiful school with fantastic facilities and teaching staff.”
“A good place to study if you want an all experience of multi cultures and good peeps from all walks of life. :D Extremism and bullying is a non-no here so if you are a shy and quiet type , its a perfect place to study in peace with no stress. I studied there too.”
“Wonderful unbelievable place to enjoy in summer school”
“Best college i went to! Such friendly staff, everyone were lovely and always helpful! Parking can be a nightmare due to small car park but I found out to just get there earlier! Miss this place so much 100% recommend to anyone who is planning on going. The best atmosphere!”
“An absolutely gorgeous pub! The food was excellent - everything tasted home made, whether it was or not. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I had the pie with red cabbage and the red cabbage was far too sweet - the same for the gravy with the sausages and mash. Other than that, the best pub meal I've had in a long time and everyone else agreed.”
“Brilliant school, thoroughly enjoyed my 7 years there. Great staff, great facilities, great ethos, beautiful setting. Couldn't have asked for a better place to grow up.”
“Assessment for Counselling Skills Level 2 was excellent and run by Debbie Nightingale. Very informative and interesting. All in all a positive experience.”
“A school that works hard at ensuring each child is supported. Truly lovely staff, definitely recommend if you are looking for a small school with a family feel.”
“Read college have given me the skills set to get into drama school. I have had the best year of learning new dance styles and gaining confidence with my singing.”
“Our kids love this nursery and we love it too! Everything is really well organised and things seem to run very well. It's a safe place- both physically and emotionally. Every member of staff (even in other parts of the nursery) know our children and give them a lot of care and attention. The location and facilities are incredible- our kids are outside so often and there is such a variety of things they can do indoors and outdoors. The information provided to parents is excellent and the nursery goes above and beyond to engage us. Over the two years we've had our children here, we have found no reason to complain about anything! We have two children at Chiltern. Our eldest joined at the age of 2, in Sep 2022 and went straight into the big kids' class (Bees). Our youngest was in the baby class for a year (Glastonbury) and is now in the bigger kids' class (Elizabeth). The staff at all three classes and the management have been brilliant the whole time. Our children are thriving here!”
