“The best catholic school in the U.K.”
“Friendly school and wonderful staff... For the next January, We will send our youngest son, as well.”
“Lovely school, helpful staff, lots of diversity, and most importantly, all the kids are always smiling and proud of belonging to Micklands :-)”
“It was very difficult for my daughter to start the nursery, but now she loves it! She comes home and sings the nursery songs. Teachers are very friendly and patience with children. They've got lots of ideas to keep them busy. I couldn't imagine a better place for my daughter to be in.”
“Has a swimming pool, sports hall (badminton/ basket ball) and a studio for things like dance lessons etc. It's got decent amount of parking too. Cost wise, it's a bit above the average. But given the kind of facilities available, I dont mind.”
“Great school! Wonderful teachers, very supportive and nurturing.”
“My girls are thriving at this wonderful school. We have been warmly welcomed into the community and everyone is so supportive. There is an ultimate sense of ‘family’ at the heart of the school and everyone in it.”
“Both my children attend Sherfield School, they’re having a brilliant experience there. Both enjoying the academic and sports side that the school offers. Would highly recommend the school - both the children and us, have made many friends there.”
“Deenway Montessori School had been life changing for my children and myself as a mother. We moved here to Reading from Singapore so our children can attend this amazing school. My 3 kids are thriving in every area and are balanced well behaved, caring cgildren and are doing amazingly academically too. We love the community that comes with the school and the Headteacher is doing an outstanding job at providing the children with a balanced education. Would recommend to anyone intrested in investing into their whole child and being part of a vision for many generations to come. May God bless this school.”
“Our son has attended LVS ascot for 5 years, it was and still is the best choice we made to date. We live in an area with wonderful schools, and when we visited them all those years ago, we were deflated with those local schools, we wanted to look at LVS but logistically from our House it was not going to be easy. But we did visit, and within two minutes we all fell in love with LVS, you know that feeling when you just know it feels right! And 5 years on and not one day have we ever regretted that choice. LVS is full of real people, support to pupils and parents. While achieving fantastic grades, but with happy well balanced students. The mixture of pupils from all different backgrounds, whether they are day students or boarders it’s bonded in an unique way. Our son has achieved so much at LVS in all areas of his life. The staff are open and welcome, and it’s so obvious the students come first. After our first year I approach the school to ask if they would consider doing an extra bus route to our area, which they agreed, so not alone did we have a wonderful school, they helped us as parents out too. To achieve great results in exams, first you have to give a child confidence to achieve great things! Every time I sit in Presidents’ Day, or I go to a music performance or attend sports day, I take a moment to look around me, to see happy smiling faces, I listen to the laughter of happy people and I give thanks to all his teachers, support staff, dinner ladies, bus drivers, cleaners, office staff and grounds men and women. As without all these wonderful people we wouldn’t have this amazing community of support for our precious children. Thank you LVS Angela Horan-Sibley”

“Great local school upholding all of the great standards of local education.”
“My children have been coming here for over 4 years now and we are very happy with the school. The teachers are fantastic, it's a nurturing environment - which also benefits from the capped smaller class sizes. I recommend going on a tour as you get a real feel for the place. It's a real hidden gem!”
“Wonderful small independent primary school with caring, conscientious staff. Highly recommended.”
“Great school would highly recommend this school”
“A fantastic local school, very well supported by its community with a great dedicated staff all round!”
“Today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 5m digital planetarium experience to 120 Reception and Year 5 pupils at The Hawthorns Primary School. I was warmly welcomed by the staff, found the hall prepared just as I had requested and was brought a mug of tea. The morning was well organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited but well-behaved students enjoyed a rich selection of content: peering up at the planetarium night sky, visiting the International Space Station and travelling through a future Solar System colonised by humans. Thank you The Hawthorns Primary for a very pleasant visit.”

“This is from his dauter who gose there!♥♥7”
“Thameside Primary School is an old Victorian building built in 1906. It's a small school but despite it's age is very well looked after & kept up to date with modern furniture & equipment by a very hard working caretaker. The school hall is a reasonable size & van be hired from the school for after school activities. There is a grassed area in the centre of the buildings which has a nice new & large gazebo for the children to study outside even if it's raining. If I were a child, this would be a lovely school to attend. Offstead have given the school a really good rating thanks to the obvious hard work of all the staff & head mistress.”
“It is a amazing school you can learn a lot over there in that school”
