Our son has attended Chiltern since March 2023, so have experienced both Under 2s and Over 2s now. We've been very happy with our choice, the fact that it's a large nursery and training college is great as it benefits from economies of scale: multiple huge playgrounds, fresh meals cooked on-site, plenty of staff whenever carers get sick, a rotation of recently trained carers with the most up to date training, even their own soft play centre! We've found it great value for money as we don't need to supply our own nappies, and there is a SENDCo who has worked with our son very closely to accommodate for his needs. Thank you Chiltern!

Our kids love this nursery and we love it too! Everything is really well organised and things seem to run very well. It's a safe place- both physically and emotionally. Every member of staff (even in other parts of the nursery) know our children and give them a lot of care and attention. The location and facilities are incredible- our kids are outside so often and there is such a variety of things they can do indoors and outdoors. The information provided to parents is excellent and the nursery goes above and beyond to engage us. Over the two years we've had our children here, we have found no reason to complain about anything! We have two children at Chiltern. Our eldest joined at the age of 2, in Sep 2022 and went straight into the big kids' class (Bees). Our youngest was in the baby class for a year (Glastonbury) and is now in the bigger kids' class (Elizabeth). The staff at all three classes and the management have been brilliant the whole time. Our children are thriving here!

We are extremely happy to have chosen Chiltern Nursery for our daughter. The rooms are large, clean and bright and the vast garden is perfectly adjusted to the little ones. The staff is very friendly and caring and look after the children just wonderfully. Also, the nursery caters for any special requirements (diet or when teething) a child might have and are always helpful and accommodating. Our daughter is always happy to go to the nursery and play with her friends and the carers. And we are very pleased to see how independent and brave she's become and how much she developed her social and communication skills since attending the nursery. The children always get a lot of attention and are entertained with various themed games and songs (e.g. there was special sensory play for the Jubilee). We are always well informed about our daughter's day and her routine and love the parent app. If we had a second child, I'd choose this nursery straight away.

I am very happy with the way my daughter has evolved whilst attending the nursery and I would recommend it to anyone open heartedly as your child will be well cared for and in a safe environment. My child is bilingual and thrived and developed so much in couple of months. The evaluation criteria are very helpful, clear, concise and in accordance with each child age development. The food is great, as well. All the staff is very supportive, including management team. They have been so helpful when we moved overseas, incorporating games and themes about the new place, helping my child to understand better the change and accepting it easier. Thank you for all your involvement and dedication.

A special place. The best staff, grounds, food, and atmosphere. Our boy loved it here and it set him up to confidently go on to primary school.

Best nursery in Reading. When my son was around 10 months old my friends recommended this nursery to me. After having him there for two years I am absolutely happy with the nursery and recommend all my friends to go there. The ladies are amazing, so good with children, very patient, teach them lots of things, food is also good. I can not thank them enough, they had done such a great job taking care if my child. I now have him in a new nursery due to the whole family moved away from Reading, despite being one of the best in Fulham and of course much more expensive than Chiltern, the new nursery is definitely not as good as Chiltern. My son and I miss Chiltern a lot.
