Our two daughters have loved their lessons and have progressed well through the waves. Josh is fantastic with the little ones. Highly recommended.

Really awful experience with The Aquatic Academy. We were told before signing up for lessons that we could have 5 minutes to use the changing cubicles after the class. We were changed and out in 5minutes every time although it was a rush. After 3 classes we were told we would no longer be able to use the changing cubicles and would have to change our children outside the building in the car park no matter what the weather. All this despite the fact that there are no longer any legal covid restrictions and people can mix freely anywhere else. I would not have signed up with these conditions, and will now struggle to find alternative swimming lessons until next term. Delyth who runs it is also really awful - she was absolutely unapologetic and didn't seem to see any problem with changing the conditions after we had already booked and paid and started classes, and I also witnessed her being really overbearing and unsympathetic to a parent whose child was upset after accidentally going under the water and swallowing some water. (edited after Aquatic academy's reply - the alleged hostility to the staff member was that I said that I didn't want to chat when she asked what my plans were for the afternoon - no shouting or aggression etc, which the owner seems to be trying to imply by saying that the staff member was left in tears or that such behaviour isn't tolerated - this seems to be an attempt to discredit my review) (the excuse that it is so other parents can view the classes doesn't really explain why children can't use changing facilities after the classes, when there are no current legal covid restrictions. If covid and numbers in the building are still a concern then parents viewing classes could be asked to leave a few minutes before the end, and parents wanting to change their children could come in. It is just more convenient for her to send children wet through out into the car park than have them change in pool side changing cubicles and covid now seems to be an excuse for this. As is clear from the owners reply, she actually can't seem to see any problem with telling people by group e-mail, 3 weeks into the course, that they will no longer be allowed to change their children out of swimming clothes indoors and will have to use a carpark - mindboggling!)

Excellent tuition as ever. The children look forward to this every week. The girls are thrilled to be swimming in the squad sessions at Wave 8 now.

My granddaughter attends The Aquatic Academy and loves it. She was a bit shy initially, but with encouragement from Delyth she now runs in every time.

Great to see how Delyth and team at The Aquatic Academy have developed great solutions so that children can continue to learn to swim during these challenge times. E loves to swim and is so happy lessons have restarted thanks all .

The Aquatic Academy is amazing. Our two sons who were terrified of the water are now excellent swimmers and love the pool. The teachers are all professional, friendly and fun and we look forward to swim lessons every week. Swim courses are a really fun activity and an essential learning skill that could save your childrens' life. If you are looking for a place to go, I highly recommend the Aquatic Academy.......H
