   This is a combined thank you and review! Our treasured Cockapoo Kiki was very unwell indeed lately but thankfully has made a full recovery. This is testament to Claire and her incredible team at Beech House vets in Cobham! Claire is the most diligent and professional vet that I have ever come across and her thorough action contributed to Kiki's recovery. Giles also played his part in supporting in Claire's absence. Both Claire and Giles showed incredible empathy and compassion which was coupled with clear instruction and advice. It would be remiss of me not to mention lovely Keira, the happiest Receptionist that I have ever come across! It is clear that this is not just a job but is a vocation for Keira. The love and care that she shows for animals is awe-inspiring. Not only is she the epitome of friendly but is super efficient and competent to boot! A thoroughly lovely human being! Thank you to all at Beech House vets in Cobham for your kindness, compassion and professional help.

   Untrustworthy, unapologetic, unhelpful and exceptionally defensive. Poor experience and follow up customer service. Few months back we brought our dog in for a consultation and in addition asked if any vaccines have, or are close to expiring. The answer was no. 4 days later the rabies one expired. Fast forward to now, this expired vaccine which was not mentioned (not sure how many others regularly check their pet passport vaccine status, especially having asked a vet to do it) has entirely derailed travel plans with our pet (sure, first world problems, but a problem none the less). I call to ask if perhaps it was performed and not noted down, or noted elsewhere other than the passport, only to be repeatedly told by the lady on reception “I didn’t work here and wasn’t part of the consultation but I’ll speak to the vet”. Fine…then Allow me (since you weren’t here) to provide full context. I calmly tried 4 times, each time getting interrupted a few words in. I eventually (and shouldn’t have) raised my voice, but of course that is now the defection tactic and focus of the conversation. I try to get the conversation back on track and am repeatedly interrupted about raising my voice. The whole thing would have been well served with a “sorry about that, can you explain the situation, I will then speak to the vet to try and help”. Instead it was utter defensiveness, abrupt and rude manner, and then deflecting away from the actual point in the call. I would go to another vet if you can. Plenty on offer. I can only imagine the passive aggressive and defensive response this will get. 05/06/2025: 5 days and counting since being told a vet would contact me.

   Friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy and the vets are lovely, thorough and patient with my overly anxious dog. So much better than my last ‘corporate’ vet’s, the vets here are people who understand and love animals and put them before targets and profits. Only slight drawback is occasionally calls are redirected to other practices so make sure you are clear about where your appointments are being booked. Other than that I highly recommend them!

   Beech House both in Shepperton and Hersham have been very helpful, attentive and friendly with my Mum’s aging cat. They have thought outside the box with his kidney disease treatment and found a successful unconventional remedy to his nausea and appetite issues.

Both outpatient and inpatient services are of a high standard and a great team spirit from the reception, nursing and veterinarian staff.    Great little vets (part of a big group) all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Newly improved the Cobham branch, it has two entrances. One for Cats and one for Dogs - big improvement. Very smart and modern and have everything you need from a vets. They take the time to explain everything. Seem to be fair priced. Always gives our little kitten great care. Would recommend.
